Located approximately 350 metres from Valpelline’s historic centre in Aosta Valley, La Maison de Franco is 954 metres above sea level. Wired internet is free in all rooms. Modern rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a desk. Floors are parquet, and the private bathroom has a shower and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a balcony. Within a 20-minute drive, you will reach the centre of Aosta, as well as its train station and airport. The Great Saint Bernard Pass located nearby, leads directly to Switzerland which is 35 minutes by car.

Traditional building inside and out yet modern with an intimate dining room downstairs where Andrea cooked his excellent food, and very well appointed bedrooms upstairs. The location is in a quiet back street of Valpelline.

La Mason de Franco was one of four favorite hotels in the Aosta valley of Italy. It was conveniently situated just steps from the center of town so that we could access the small number of cafes, bars and shops - and had lovely views of the surrounding mountains from all of the windows and porches. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean with comfortable beds and bedding. But the real highlight of this hotel was Laura, the host and owner of the property. We ate dinner and breakfast at her restaurant downstairs - and she pulled out all the stops to serve lovely meals for us and even accommodated an early breakfast for us. I can't recommend this hotel enough!
