“A little gem in the mountains”

We would highly recommend the Guest House if you like the idea of a lovely authentic chalet nestled in a small village in the mountains. Quiet seclusion, no bustle or noise, skiing the traditional way, departing each day for a different mountain. (You really should have a car, otherwise you're walking 10-15 minutes to gondola in Vallorcine.) The hosts, Helen and Steve, (speak fluent English and French ...and Swedish presumably!) make you feel very welcome and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast is superb, and Helen is attentive to each guest’s needs. The communal room has a very warm and cosy atmosphere with a wood burner and comfy sofas. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bed and private bathroom next door. (Other rooms had en suite showers). Definitely would go back.

This guest house in Vallorcine is a true gem. Nestled in the mountains with only a few rooms, it feels like staying at your favorite aunt and uncle’s home. The rooms are cozy and warm, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully family-like, making it easy to chat and connect with other guests. A truly special place — we would happily come back!

I was welcomed by Helen and Steve with such grace! It was a rainy day on my TMB tour so I had to deviate from my original plan to camp and ended up here. Best choice ever

Beautiful room with lovely valley view, super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the host - Helen - was incredibly helpful in terms of giving information and booking a restaurant for my evening meal.

Beautiful house with lovely decor and thoughtful touches. A very lovely 'home from home'. Bedroom was comfy and the traditional Alpine balcony was a great extra. Breakfast was unbeatable - delicious, loads of it and some excellent scrambled eggs! The use of the kitchen in the evenings, the lounge, and the complementary tea and coffee are all brilliant extras....All in all, Helen clearly takes pride in welcoming guests and ensuring their stay is memorable- walking tips and info on the best place to eat nearby were really appreciated. Highly recommended!

“A wonderful, comfortable stay amongst extremely beautiful scenery with experienced and natural hosts”

The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Traditionally european in style, fresh and nourishing. The table around which everyone gathered had a very convivial atmosphere due to Helen's welcoming and friendly guidance. In the evening Helen or Steve would light the fire in the sitting room which felt like being in your own home. We were so comfortable there. The bedrooms were also very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains from the windows. We all slept so peacefully. There is a superb bath that goes with the bigger room in which we all indulged to rest our tired legs. Helen and Steve were perfect hosts they had so much knowledge of the area and were able to apply it accurately to our level of mountain activity. What more can I say.?.. We cooked for ourselves in the evenings as if we were in our own home. We felt as though we were as comfortable as when we are visiting friends. We would love so much to come back one day..and hopefully soon.

The owner was a great person and prepared us a wonderful breakfast every morning. The accommodation was super clean and we felt like at home.

The stay was FANTASTIC. everything : from the location, to the warm welcome, amazing hosts and must-try breakfast option. Beds and pillows were super comfortable as well. The view from the booking was on another level.
