Overview
Set 3 km from the village of Valle di Casies in the Puster Valley, Hotel Tyrol features a restaurant, a free sauna and steam bath. The traditional-style rooms boast a south-facing, panoramic balcony. The spacious rooms overlook the Plan de Corones mountain or Valle di Casies. Each includes a TV, a sofa, and fully equipped bathroom. Cakes, muesli and cold cuts, but also eggs and bacon feature on the breakfast buffet. The Tyrol Hotel’s restaurant specialises in Tyrolean and national cuisine. Public areas include a garden with playground and small wooden house, and a terrace with sun loungers. Sessions in the hot tub, infrared sauna and solarium can be booked at reception. Hiking excursions with barbecue evenings can be arranged once a week in summer. A bus stopping right outside provides links to Monguelfo Train Station. Toblach is a 20-minute drive away.

Very nice hotel with spa, well maintained. The staff was super friendly. We had half board and the dinner was excellent. Big, confortable rooms.

“Good but not great”
The room was beautiful, with a spacious balcony offering a lovely view of the pool and mountains. The pool itself was great, though it would have been nice if it opened earlier than 3:00 PM. The dinner was delicious, and the waitstaff were friendly and made an effort to speak English.

Very good service, very clean rooms, SPA better than the pictures, with new area with a great outdoor warmed pool and sauna. Dinner was delicious as well!

“Cosy hotel with spa.”
Really nice hotel with great spa, the ski slopes (crosscountry) were right in front of the hotel and the bus station is 50m away. Dinner and breakfast were good. The valley Gseis is really a nice place for enjoing mountains and not too crowded.
