“Amazing place”

Amazing garden and birds. Its so calm there but close to everything. You can park the car. There is also a nice kitchen. The owners are suoer nice and helpfull. The garden is amazing. We had some wine there and enjoyed all the flowers and the sounds of birds. They also have a nice fluffy cat. Really recommend!

The whole garden is under good care, very cozy environment. The location is about 10min from center. Owners speaks english well, were super helpful and kind.

“No hospitality”

DO NOT GO HERE. Agreed a late check in. Really poor hostility letting your guests waiting for a closed gate and not providing a place to sleep. Unbelievable!

“Peaceful place away from city noise”

Very peaceful place about 15-20min walk from the center of El Valle. You will only hear birds singing, no traffic. Amazing colorful garden to chill out on. Big & beautiful bathroom with hot water in the shower. The biggest bed I've ever slept in, also the mattres is very comfy. Complimentary coffee and tea. A very nice and helpful owner. We loved our stay!

“Not a clean hotel first time I couldn’t stay the whole time”

If you don’t have a car I would not recommend choosing this location. It’s a bit of a walk to the city centre. The garden was beautiful and loved relaxing on the hammock. my room was quite small. The window was extremely small and there was minimal to no natural light in the room. For $130 I would expect the bed to be clean and there were dead bugs on it. The owners were kind and changed the sheets. However, the sheets they changed to had yellow stains. The AC machine is quite old but works. I do not recommend for light sleepers. The bathroom shower head was brown and that convinced me not to shower. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was not the best. To the point where for the first time in my life I decided I could not stay for both nights. I needed to move. I paid $100 instead of $130 for the two nights. As I left early due to the cleanliness the owners decided to not give a refund for a night. Anyways, if cleanliness is not a big deal to you then you can stay here. If you prioritise comfort for your trips I don’t recommend this accommodation.

“Beautiful, calm, comfortable place to stay at El Valle.”

Set in lush, tropical gardens, about 1km from the Main Street, this is a gorgeous place to relax and take in nature. Alex and Julia are excellent hosts and were very welcoming guests and helpful. We stayed in one of 3 rooms in a separate building in the garden. With its own terrace and dining area. Shared coffee machine and fridge and free coffee and teas. And filtered water. Everything was clean and comfortable. A/C worked well. Wifi signal strong and reliable. We had a fantastic stay and would come here again. Thank you! (Reminder- need to pay in cash when checking in).

“We loved the Paradise in the Valley!”

We three travellers loved the unique and enchanting house and property, and the great hosts... We had access to the kitchen for coffee and tea and were able to prepare fruit and cheese plates for dining outdoors on the terrace. It was perfect - lovely 20 minute walk to the stores/cafe with a small town vibe. We rented bikes to explore the beautiful area. The hosts Alex and his wife were helpful and delightful in every way. Everything was just right.

The location for watching birdlife, wildlife (like the family of Aguila in the mornings) and the beautiful plants and flowers was exceptional. With the friendly hosts who were always on call, if required, it was a highly memorable two nights in a haven of tranquility.

The hosts were fabulous, feeling more like good friends, and helpful with our VERY limited Spanish.. And such a nice little paradise, located so conveniently walking distance to the main street thru quite and peaceful back streets
