The staff were excellent, especially Edgar and Andrea at reception. The hostel had great facilities and was perfectly clean.

I stayed for 4 nights at this hostel during my trip to Mexico. I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is in a quiet area of the city, very close to the ADO bus station. I had a private room, which was very comfortable, toilets and showers were always clean. I loved the common area and the hammocks at the bottom of the garden. One of the best things was the fresh breakfast cooked for you by the lovely lady there every morning. That was always something I looked forward to. Also there were plenty of bikes to rent to go out and explore nearby cenotes. Overall this hostel has a very chilled vibe, and friendly staff at reception. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Valladolid.

I stayed at Hostel Candelaria for three nights, but I honestly would have stayed longer! The staff is extremely kind, especially the guy who was always happy to give advice and have a chat — I really loved that atmosphere. In the morning you’re welcomed by a wonderful lady who prepares delicious breakfasts. The place is surrounded by greenery, almost like being in the jungle — the setting is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. It does get very hot during the day, but I slept really well at night thanks to the air conditioning. The location is perfect, very central and convenient for everything, with a beautiful square right in front.

“Colorful hostel in a lovely neighborhood!”

Cozy, quiet and social hostel with a lot of shade (highly appreciated in hot Valladolid!). Perfectly situated in a lovely neighborhood, a couple of blocks away from the tourist craze. Good beds, and very nice to have a table and chairs in the room! Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is super nice for a hostel!!

Honestly an amazing hostel. The location is great, easy to walk everywhere and there’s a nice little square/park at the front so no traffic. The garden is a nice plus as well. Rooms are very clean and so are the kitchen, all the bathrooms and toilets. Staff is super super friendly and helpful and they can help you with anything you might need: bicycles, scooters, tours, transport - anything. The ladies that serve the breakfast are also lovely and breakfast was delicious. We also did the cooking class which was fun.

Great hostel in the centre of Valladolid. In walking distance to ADO bus station, cenote and shops/restaurants. The staff was super welcoming and the breakfast was very good. Also nice area in the garden with hammocks.

The property is really centrally located and easily walkable. The hostel is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating spaces.All of the staff were great and really helpful, and I regret not being able to say goodbye to them in a rush. Breakfast is freshly prepared each day and delicious. Bathrooms are always kept spotlessly clean. My bed was comfortable enough and the room spacious enough; came with two chairs and a side table with charging ports. Despite a general noisiness, other guests were super respectful of quiet hours.

Staff were very nice and helpful. The best breakfast we’ve ever had at a hostel. Great atmosphere with a great common area and garden. Cooking class was a lovely experience. Private room was very nice and bathrooms shared but very clean and well looked after.
