There is a nice vibe about the place. Room size and facilities appropriate given the price. Location is slightly out of the center but safe, it makes for a nice 15/20 min walk downtown.

“Chi is the best host ever!”
Chi was the most amazing host we have ever had - he was very welcoming and although the location was a bit out of town he offered to drive us in. Rooms were very comfortable and the value for money was amazing.

- The owner of the hostel is so lovely. He taught us how to salsa and gave us beers to drink with him :) The owners are definitely the best part about this hostel.

Chi is an amazing host, only for him I would already stay here again :) we felt very welcome right from the first minute. Chi gave us great insider tips on where to go (cenotes etc), and even drove us to one! We had fun nights together! We wish all the best for Chi and his family! The room had a really big bed, and the temperature was fine in the night (only a fan for the downstairs room).

A safe and quiet location only 20 minutes walk from the centre. Chi gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, he’s a really nice guy with a great spirit. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have cold filter water and coffee provided. A really nice atmosphere and a very cuddly guard dog named Draco looking after us is all we need!

The best was the staff. Chi is a wonderful person, always willing to help and share his knowledge about the best restaurants, xenotes, etc. The location is good, not in the city center, but a nice 15' walk. The best value for money. Period.

“Good price, comfy for a couple of nights + amazing doggo Draco!”
+ The residence dog Draco who is a stunning gentleman of a puppy, we loved him!! He's always happy to see you but isn't a needy dog, he can be independent. We loved playing with him an giving him pets 🐶❤️ + Mr. Chi the owner is a great guy, he is so friendly and speaks some English too. He also gave us a lift to the bus since it was a super hot day on our departure. We're very grateful! + Shared kitchen had everything you need for cooking your own meals and had a big fridge too + The vibe at Casa Chi is so chill and friendly, we hung out there a lot on our 2 night stay + Nice balcony/terrace area upstairs to hangout + Beds were comfortable in our room + Room was big enough for two + The area was quiet enough at night and felt very safe to stay there + Close enough to town (about 20-30 min) + Good price

Owner was the nicest man we have had the privilege to stay with, even gave us a lift to eh bus station at the end of our stay. Lovely dog Draco :)
