Set on the banks of the Pisuerga River, this elegant 5-star hotel is housed in the historical monastery of Los Jerónimos, dating from the 18th century. AC Hotel Palacio de Santa Ana provides a luxurious setting, which will help you relax. You can do some exercise in the fitness centre of the hotel, and then unwind by taking a dip in the heated indoor pool, or in the Turkish bath. The hotel is decorated in a classical style and boasts a magnificent glass-covered cloister. This hotel is also ideal if you are visiting the area on business. The 20.00 check in requirement. The absence of a chef.ie no restaurant, which even the receptionist was not aware about. Our stay clashed with an exclusive booking of the hotel by the Spanish football team.

Helpful friendly staff. Very good breakfast, hot dishes cooked to order, rather than on buffet. Lovely big central area and although hotel was full never felt busy.

Comfortable room, very comfortable beds, good sized bathroom. Generous sized bath and good shower. Food and drinks in bar and restaurant of very good quality with a nicely judged selection available. Cooking of a high standard and breakfast very varied and high quality. Outstanding feature the friendliness and help given by staff. All were prepared to make an extra effort to provide additional advice, difficult to acquire information and show great patience. A special mention for Lucia and her colleagues in the restaurant who were charming, patient and always helpful with guidance on choices.
