Overview
Set on the banks of the Frodolfo Stream in the Stelvio National Park, Residence Ables is in Valfurva less than 5 minutes' drive from Bormio. It offers free parking and an outdoor area with table football and other games. Energy is produced using solar panels. With mountain views, all apartments have a classic design with wooden furniture and tiled floors. Each one features a comfortable seating area with TV and a kitchenette. You have discounts at a bar and bakery next door, as well as at a small restaurant serving Valtellina cuisine. Discounts also apply for rental of ski equipment and ski passes for the Santa Caterina ski area. The Ables Residence is near the auditorium, sports arena and artificial wall for rock climbing practice. You are also close to the Visitor Centre in Stelvio National Park and a museum to find out more about the valley. Many trekking paths start directly from here. The bus stop to Tirano is right outside the property. Buses are also available to the ski areas of Bormio and Santa Caterina. Guests enjoy discounts at various restaurants, ski schools and sports stores, as well as at the town’s Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi thermal spas.

Nice apartment with basic kitchen, large comfortable bed and OK bathroom. Everything was really clean and comfortable. Lovely little town, perfect for an evening walk. Ideal location for driving the Stelvio Pass.

This property is a guest house. It is located about 5 minutes by car from the Bormio gondola lift. The ski bus stops right outside the building. A very large ski room. Large rooms equipped with kitchens or kitchenettes. Very clean. The equipment is not new, but all is working fine. The rooms are warm, easy to adjust the heating. Parking right under the building. This is a typical facility where the price explains quality. For people who are in Bormio for skiing, where the room is only for sleeping is a great option. I highly recommend.
