Urban Youth Hostel in Valencia provides adults-only accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. Around 1.3 km from Playa de las Arenas, the property is 1.9 km away from Malvarrosa Beach, 500 metres from the nearest Metro Station, Maritim-Serrería, and a 20-minute walk from the City of Arts and Science. All rooms at the Youth Hostel are bright and overlook the street. Some come with a spacious terrace. Each bed has its locker, individual plug and a reading lamp. Extra lockers can be rented from reception. Urban Youth Hostel features a modern bar in the ground floor serving national and international dishes. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and a games room. There is a self-service washing and drying service. You can reach Valencia Airport in 40 minutes by public transport. The hostel is just 600 metres from Valencia Harbour.

“You can do better”
While I was out, someone unauthorized entered our dorm and used our shower, leaving the whole floor flooded. When I told the staff, they just said they "couldn't do anything." They eventually just handed me a mop to clean it up myself. Also, the only power outlet at my bed was broken, so I couldn't even charge my phone. To top it off, the reception doesn't even speak basic English, which is a joke for an international hostel. Terrible maintenance and zero support.

The rooms were full of middle-aged man, obviously not tourists, smoking and drinking within the room. As the only woman in the dormitory (of 10 beds) I have never felt so ill at ease in an hostel. I left after only one night, cancelling the 3 following nights without being reimbursed (apparently they don’t allow last-minute cancellation for booking reservations) Definitely cheap but what a night!

The place is super clean and staff is very nice. Big kitchen, the hostel is located very close to beach. All is good here.

Really comfortable. Big bed, bathroom and room in general. Reception was very helpful. Be sure to check the reception operation time since you have to ask them about hair dryer and towel stuffs. Bring some euro.
