“Lovely hostal in a beautiful area of León”

The hotel is located in a really beautiful area, next to the river. Our room got upgraded, we got a spacious room facing the river. We loved it. The dinner at the restaurant was so delicious. The area has lovely hiking routes, and it is great to return to such a warm place.

Dinner was average and the room was quite basic. There is no aircon but that didn't bother me at all. The bed was fantastic and I slept very well. Breakfast was good and the staff, especially Suzannah, were helpful and charming. Great location.

Plenty of parking, east to find, and the setting right next to a river is beautiful.

Location is excellent for touring - the hotel is isolated so there is little to do there other than relax. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent and very good value.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. I particularly like the fact that they had a great sense of humor and great character. The boss lady was very helpful in meeting our early breakfast needs. Very much appreciated. The car park is large enough and level which is useful for us as a group of 6 motorcyclists.

Great location for the Picos. Popular with motorcyclists. I tend to use it as my last stop before Santander (about 3 hours away). Plenty of parking and good food.

Peaceful location close to picturesque Lake Riaño. Our bedroom window had stunning mountain views and a river running just below it!

Very helpful staff made the stay enjoyable. The location is special and a great base for a roadtrip. The locals frequent it which says it all. Tasty food and lots of it.

“A Majestic Start for bikers...”

Suzanna and her staff, especially her wonderful mother, who is also the chef de cuisine, could not have been more welcoming. It was such a beautiful start to a few weeks on two wheels in Spain and Portugal. Perfect distance from the Santander ferry (Wednesday morning ship arrival, evening at this hotel), to take in the eastern side of the Potes triangle, a staggering, breathtaking ride. Don't worry whether it's a good first stopover, it's flipping ideal. Simple as that. Definitely coming back! 😇

The location was great for us, as an overnight stop en route from Santander to northern Portugal. The welcome from staff was wonderful on our admittedly late arrival. They couldn’t have been more helpful and we had a late dinner. super value for money.
