A really cosy place to stay, in a location that couldn’t be better. The staff are really friendly – best wishes to Cecil. And thanks again to the owner, who even picked me up from the bus station because I arrived in Valdivia far too late.

“Hostal La Muelle-super clean and great value.”
Hostal La Muelle is one of the cleanest hostals I have stayed in and was great value for money.My room was reasonably large and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.The staff were friendly and helpful and in this regard I want to thank Maria-who does a fantastic job keeping the place clean and smelling fresh-and Nella....Breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect-a short distance from the main plaza.....Hostal La Muelle is a lovely place....10 out of 10.

“Great style on a low budget”
If you want to travel in style but still on a budget, this is for you. It is beautiful, old style both on the outside, in the common room, and inside the spacious room. The internet is decent, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is quite decent, and the location is great.

The staff are really friendly. The location is great. It feels like you are staying at your Nan’s house - cosy and quaint. The breakfast is good and really well organised.
