Overview
The family-run La Val Hotel Residence has a quiet location, 500 metres from the ski lifts to the Valdidentro – San Colombano ski area. Its veranda boasts panoramic mountain views. La Val Hotel is composed of two buildings, with the main one housing the restaurant and bar. There are 2 gardens, one equipped with a children's playground. Rooms are spacious and have satellite TV, a balcony, and a private bathroom. Some feature a fully equipped kitchenette. La Val's restaurant offers a varied menu of typical dishes from Valdidentro Bormio, as well as international cuisine. Children's and special diet menus are available on request. Guests have excellent bus links around Bormio, with the thermal spas of Bormio Terme just 8 km away.

“A wonderful relaxing holiday in a family friendly small hotel with caring, attentive, friendly staff”
It was in a great location for access (by car) to the local ski areas. The family and their team of staff were very friendly and helpful even with our limited spoken Italian. The food was good, service was prompt. Rooms were large, comfortable, well equipped. Christmas was celebrated with Babbo Natale visiting. It reminded us of very happy times living in Italy when our children were small. Very much a welcoming family environment.

“Great stop off base when travelling through the area.”
Returning customer after visiting 10 years ago. Nothing has changed. Just perfect. The staff and family are very welcoming. Being a car club we were offered underground parking in a secured garage but the area is so safe and quiet. Food was great and excellent value both evening snd breakfast. Also catering for Gluten free member of our party.

“A very pleasant stay in beautiful Italy near Livigno & bormio with the stelvio pass nearby.”
Very good stay for bikers wanting to be near the stelvio and umbrail passes. Very welcoming polite owners, a very pleasant stay, clean and tidy rooms, garage for motorcycle offered before even asking. Pleasantly surprised room has cooking facilities but limited on utensils but adequate. We didn’t not use the restaurant. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast which was above average.
