We loved our stay here! The family offered to cook us a late lunch on arrival, and since we had an early start the next morning they packed our breakfast and were up at 6am to give it to us. All meals were delicious! The hosts were a great help with organising a tour guide for us for the hike the next day as the summer trail was closed due to snow, and had also offered to drop us at the trailhead too. Run by a lovely family!

Guest house run by a really lovely family. All the members are really helpful and spread good vibes. They speak good english and were good fun. The food was very nice (housemade and a lot!) and the bedroom and bathroom were clean. Very good service for a super good price!

Great stay at this guesthouse. Everything was clean and newly renovated. Nice family who run the accommodation. They even packed us our breakfast/lunch to go and dropped us at the Valbone > Theth trailhead early in the morning. Would recommend 10/10

“Wonderful family guesthouse in the Albanian Alps.”

We only stayed one night here but loved the guest house. The room was ideal with an amazing Mountain View from the balcony. The family are really nice, we learned lots about the area and how life is like living there from chatting with them and the Father Lazer really made us laugh with his sense of humour. We ate dinner there and the food was delicious, particularly the locally caught trout. We had to change our plans and they were so helpful in making everything smooth and easy for us. A great place to go if you want to experience true Albanian hospitality.

Very nice hosts, very tasty local food, simple but tasty, I felt like home. The window offers a great view of nature and mountains. Such a relaxing corner when you want to escape from the chaotic city

The owners of this guesthouse are the warmest most welcoming ever. We have been to a few guest houses and they definitely rate very high as our favorite. Not only did they drive us to the start of the hike, but they also prepared lunch packages to take with us. The food is very local and fresh, don't miss their home-made cheese and bread. Their place is wonderful with very clean rooms and hot showers. The view of the mountains is to die for. We can't recommend their place enough.

We had a great stay here. The food was very good and the place felt very welcoming.Even a last-minute lunch package was quickly arranged. It’s a lovely family-run place, great contact with the sons, delicious cooking by the mother, and even a lift from the father. Everyone took great care of us. Highly recommended!

amazing location and fantastic service, such a nice and quiet place. The hospitality level was through the roof, we were even dropped off right at the trail for free. Also, great homemade food!

“One of the best Valbona guest houses”

The family of Mario and Marikglen were very welcoming and hosted us with no complaints. The place itself is very neatly maintained and the rooms and very comfortable. The food provided is excellent and the restaurant is very cosy. Highly recommend their guest house to stay for anyone who's looking to hike Valbona and to Teth. The house is very new and is really well maintained.

Newly built and exceptionally clean, with wonderful hosts. The Çardaku family are kind, engaging, and incredibly helpful. They prepare all the food on-site using their own ingredients, so everything is fresh and tastes excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you immediately feel at home. The setting is peaceful and beautifully kept, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests really stands out. Would highly recommend and happily return. Very close to the start of the trail. Note that up until June (sometimes) you HAVE to take the winter trial to get to Teth, the summer one is extremely dangerous.

The family is super nice, the house is beautiful and super clean. Loved this place and for sure will come back!

“Great Value”

The room was warm, comfy & clean. The view from the shared balcony was amazing. The bathroom whilst not in the room was just down the hall a few meters, it was exceptionally clean & was for our sole use. Breakfast was incl. in the price & was ample. We were travelling without a car so ate lunch & dinner here. They kindly organized lunch for us on arrival (this is a service not normally provided) - fresh bread, a huge salad, fried potatoes/chips. The evening meal was good value & the vegetable soup was so delicious. I'd come back for the soup! They gave us a lift to the beginning of the Valbone to Theth hike after breakfast/checkout - this was appreciated as it saved an hour on the hike.

The host and their family were extremely welcoming and helpful. They offered a delicious dinner and a hearty breakfast, perfect for a day of hiking. When I had to extend my stay due to bad weather, they immediately cleaned and prepared the room for an extra night. They were attentive throughout, always checking if I needed anything.

This accomodation is ran by a very hospitable family! They were so welcoming and helpful - they gave us a choice of rooms as they had a spare, prepared a packed breakfast to go as we wanted to leave early, and dad made us an early morning espresso before driving us to the trailhead (complimentary) before anyone else was awake! For 10 euro each we were given a wonderful dinner of vegetable and rice soup (we’re vegetarian), roast potato and cream, plenty of bread, a bowl of salad, some pumpkin pastry and cheese - plenty of food! The room and bed were very comfortable and water was hot. They also spoke excellent English which we found helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Hospitality, comfort, perfect spot to recover after a long hike.

A great location for hikers. Lovely warm room, hot showers and clean facilities. Food was excellent - a meat or vegetarian option, and plenty of food in the packed lunch.

A lovey family run guest house. Room was big and clean. We especially enjoyed the home style cooking for dinner. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
