“Recommend for a stay in Theth!”

We loved the peace, the garden and the fantastic views from the guesthouse. The room was great, the beds comfortable, the aircon worked well. The owners were very helpful. Lovely having breakfast and dinner in the garden.

Beautiful guesthouse is in the most scenic of places, views you dream of! Food was delicious, room was what we needed for the one night. Host was friendly, able to give us lots of advice as we were off to hike to Theth the following morning. Transfer to the start was arranged through them for this.

Every now and again you stumble upon a memorable, unique and completely magical place to stay - and our night staying with host Erman and his kind parents was this special experience. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and cared for. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean (with jaw-dropping mountain views), and the vegetarian dinner that Erman's Mom prepared was, without doubt, a major highlight of our entire trip to Albania. The quiet at night was astonishing, and the ability to arrange an early morning breakfast and transfer to the start of the trail to Theth was the icing on the cake. Extraordinary from start to finish, and a place to which we'd love to return.

Guesthouse Mehmeti was lovely with delicious home cooked food and awesome views of the mountains. It was a great way to end the hike. The family who run the guesthouse are very kind and helped me hugely when my hiking shoes broke. They managed to find someone who sold me some new ones (very difficult as there are no shoe shops in Valbone) and saved my holiday! Would recommend this place to stay.

“Perfect stay”

I loved it here. It was every bit worth the extra walk (or taxi) to/from the pass. The setting is idyllic. A family farm, in the valley, and so peaceful, with a beautiful garden. You can sit in the garden for dinner. I could arrange for dinner (15 Eur) for whenever I was ready. The food was incredible, traditional, and homemade (the bean soup if you’re veggie is out of this world!). Breakfast was plentiful too. The host was so kind and welcoming. A very clean room with a wonderfully comfy bed. The host offered to fill up my water bottle from bottled water for me. I walked back up the track to the main road in the morning with other guests to wait for the minibus back to Fierze. I wish I could’ve stayed for longer!

We were warmly welcomed and served by a very kind host. After a long hike we were quite tired, and he kindly agreed to prepare dinner for us as well. The rooms were spacious enough and comfortable.

The location is simply out of this world! We loved sitting in the garden looking at the truly awesome mountains and the daily farm activities. The food was mainly from home produce, delicious and in abundance. The hiking was superb and our hosts were welcoming.

Lovely stay, very nice hosts, comfy beds and great views.

Stunning location surrounded by mountains, we had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The dinner and breakfast were devine, with most, if not all, the food produced by the owners themselves from their land and animals. Owners were very helpful and attentive to everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.
