“Perfect location to start the hike”

Lovely little lodge, room was basic but had everything we needed, the shower was really good too! It was a perfect location to stay for the start of the Valbona to Theth hike, think it shaved off about an hour of walking. Host was really friendly, she cooked us dinner for €10 each which was so tasty and a lot of food! Breakfast was also really good! We made sandwiches to take on the hike. The only thing to add would be that we got dropped off at Hotel Fusha e Gjesë Valbonë (definitely don’t eat there, had the worst meal of our trip) and to walk to the guesthouse you need to follow the signs to Guesthouse Hyrmet Demushi. The host is super responsive though if you need to ask anything.

She is the loveliest person and will help with lunch for the trail. She also made the nicest diner outside for us to eat within the great forest environment. Really nice to place to start the hike to Theth to. Beautiful in the early morning!

“Super cozy lovely guesthouse in the middle of nowhere”

The host was very lovely, cooked a very tasteful authentic dinner for us and also the breakfast was very good. The rooms are super cozy and I slept like a baby there. And if you want to hike from Valbona to Theth you can directly start from there as it is super close to the path. I would always stay here again.

The place is beautiful, the room super clean, the shower awesome.. The hostess is super kind and friendly. The dinner and breakfast are delicious. The location is excellent for starting the hike toward Theth.

“Great place for relax in forest calmness”

Hosts are very welcoming couple. They do their best for your stay as much comfortable as possible. Also, amazing location in the forest 10mins walking from main street gives you amazing calmness and possible to have a rest.

It’s an amazing guesthouse in the woods. Perfect if you do the hike from Theth to Valbona as it’s just located at the start of Valbona village. The location was just hard to find: If you come from Fierza to Valbona stoped to FUSHA E GJESE BIG HOTEL turn in the left and follow the red sign on the rock. If you come from Theth, you see a tab Guesthouse Hyrmet Demushi we are 2 minutes near. You will have a great breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse. The host is so nice.

A more traditional type of accommodation, Conveniently located at the start of the hiking route to Theth. The host left us a packed breakfast/lunch for our early start to the hike.

“Absolutely recommendable!”

Lovely stay in a beautiful and calm area at the very end of Valbona and on the way to the Theth-Valbona hike. Amazing host who made our stay comfortable and helped us get to the pharmacy/doctor when needed. The food is delicious, copious and reasonably priced (@ 10€ pp. as of July '25). Definitely recommend if you're looking for a calm and clean stay.

The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The meals provided were basic but sufficient. Our host was upfront about this and gave us the option to go elsewhere for dinner. The hosts were absolutely lovely and helpful. It was the check-in experience that was the problem.

“We stayed one night and that was amazing!”

We took the trek from Theth to Valbona and this guesthouse is located just at the end of the trek, which was amazing. The host is very kind and she made us dinner and breakfast. Lovely, tranquil place to relax after a days hike.

Great location for the Valbone-Theth hike, the host of the guesthouse was very lovely and provided also dinner and breakfast for 10 euros. Overall great stay and would recommend.

The location is near the route from Theth to Valbona. They made us fire where we could dry our clothes. They also make us delisious breakfast which was inclued the price. The value for our money was excellent.

Right near the trail for the Theth to valbone hike, great value for money very clean with private bathroom the bed was very comfy and I slept very well all night though it was peaceful. The host was very kind giving my husband a beer and making us lovely sandwhiches which we took on our hike that we absolutely loved. Great experience wld recommend xx overall great and exactly what we wanted

“Comfy stay at the end of the Theth to Valbone trail”

Fantastic set up for the end of the Theth to Valbone hike! The family run this guesthouse only in the summer months and the cabins are relatively new and very comfortable. Substantial breakfast included which and the host also offers a dinner which was great for the end of a long hike to not have to venture out again. Me and my partner shared one meal and it was more than enough. The location is great, it is right at the end (or start) of the Theth to Valbone trail which means you don't get hit with the additional km at the end along the river bed to reach your accomodation. I would recommend asking for detailed photos from the host as it could be a bit tricky to find without them. The host also helped us to get to the bus in the morning to head back to Shkoder which picks you up about a 5min walk away.
