“Great base ahead of the big hike!”

We stayed the night before doing the Valbonë-Theth hike and it made an excellent base to start the hike from, as there is a shortcut through to the river to start the hike (the owner is very helpful and will tell you where to go to find it and also gave us tips about the trail). It was very comfortable and the owner is always on hand to help out with anything. He also made us egg salad sandwiches to take with us as we wanted to get out early, which we really appreciated! As others have mentioned, you can eat at the hotel next door (restaurant is available all day, which was a massive relief for us as we hadn’t eaten all day) FYI, it is a 25 min walk up hill from the main road if you get dropped off by bus.

Not in the touristy area of valbona, direct view on the Mountains without any other houses or cars We could easily store our bicycles and cook on the balcony during our bike packing tour. Easy to access different hiking routes. Lovely owner, very kind and funny. Supporting small businesses.

Our stay was fantastic. The rooms were very clean, with a spacious and spotless bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was perfectly arranged. The owner, Miri, is an amazing person, always smiling and very friendly. He helped us a lot during our stay, told us many interesting things about the history of his place, and took care of every detail. He helped us reserve our dinner and also organized a taxi for us to reach our next destination. I am fully convinced that I will come back again. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants a warm and beautiful experience.

The host is so so so helpful and sweet. He booked us a table for dinner at the nearby guesthouse and packed our breakfast so we could leave early in the morning. The location is wonderful and so quiet. We had an amazing time!

Very friendly host, gave us a coffee when we arrived, placed a heater in the room because the temperature had dropped. Place is simple but perfect for the mountains and after a hiking day. Decent breakfast. For dinner we went to a guesthouse closeby, as recommended by the host.
