Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful location. Bed was super comfortable and her cooking was one of the best we had on our hike. We would have extended our stay longer if she had availability.

We had a wonderful time at Bujtina Ahmetaj and wish we could have stayed longer! Drita is a great host. Dinner and breakfast were really good. The food is fresh and homemade. The room was super clean and comfortable. For us, our stay at Bujtina Ahmetaj was a highlight of our trip to Albania. If you look for a friendly, authentic guesthouse with great food and fantastic view, we recommend staying here. :-)

Everything, the room, the bathroom, the food and the view from Bujtina Ahmetaj, no other place here has the same view because of the position of the property. Bottomless supply of water, the food was delicious and plenty. Bathroom and room sliders, towels and hairdryer provided. Dritta is a lovely host and goes to a lot of effort to make your stay comfortable

Super friendly, warm and welcoming owner who was very helpful and offered fantastic breakfast and dinner. The room was quite big and the view was stunning.

Absolutely incredible stay, our host was so friendly, the food was amazing and we ate surrounded by mountains - she even catered vegan for us. The room and bed was the best we’ve had during our entire Europe trip and at such at great price. Wifi was excellent. We actually ended up wanting to stay longer but it was booked out, so get in early!

Lovely lovely stay!! Beautiful view, amazing food and a very caring owner! She even made us packed breakfast for an early hike! Everything was clean and comfortable, we had parked our car on the property - just follow a small wooden sign for the place next door off the main road!

The room was lovely! We stayed in the upstairs room and it was really clean and tidy. It was exactly what was advertised! The lovely host was so lovely and made us the most delicious dinner for so cheap. We practically rolled back to our room because we were so full! The included breakfast was also fantastic. We really really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back next time we are in valbone!!

“The place of dreams - scenery, food and comfort”

This is the most beautiful place I have stayed. The views were unreal and it's tucked slightly back from the road. Such a quiet and serene spot within Valbone valley. Ahmetaj was so lovely and her food was delicious. The room was really nice and the comfiest bed we have had in Albania yet! It was a great quiet spot, away from the crowds that some of the accommodation in Valbone has. The owner helped us organise a taxi to the start of the trail and made us a delicious and very affordable packed lunch to take with us. Definitely stay here!

Best host

Had a great stay in this guesthouse. The host, Drita, was very lovely and welcoming. She prepared breakfast and dinner, which were delicious and the portion was generous. She even prepared me lunch for my hike the next day at a very fair cost. To top it all off, the view from the yard and the second floor bedroom was stunning. The location is quite far from the starting point of the hiking trail, but a Taxi could easily be arranged through Drita.

Drita was so warm and has an excellent hospitality. The breakfast was so good with an amazing view. The rooms was to clean. Absolutely comfortable for families.

Drita (apologies if I have spelt your name wrong) is an amazing host, very kind and smiley! The food is great. Our only trouble we had was initially finding the place when getting off the bus (we didn't have wifi at the time), so a sign with the guest house name would be handy, otherwise get off at Bujtina Sherifaj and follow the path down to the property.

Excellent guesthouse with the funniest and most welcoming host. We stayed for 2 nights and loved watching the sunset from the tables outside. We spent our first night chatting away with fellow guests (there are max 4 at a time) and had the best evening. The tomatoes we had there amongst the best I’ve had in my life! The host also helped us to arrange taxis to the start of the hike to Theth (I think it was around 8EUR each?)
