Overview
Located in Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in the Alps, Altapura offers access to the 3 Valleys’ 600 km of ski routes. It features a pool and a spa. All of the wood-paneled rooms feature an LCD satellite TV and a minibar. Each has a private bathroom with amenities and bathrobes. Most of the rooms have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Altapura serves a breakfast in the restaurant 2Mille3, and also has 3 restaurants including a chic bistro and a cheese specialist. The bar is ideal for relaxing with a drink and using the free Wi-Fi or reading one of the newspapers. With ski equipment hire on site, the hotel is ideally located for exploring one of the largest ski resorts in the world. The hotel is 35 km from Moutiers-Salins-Brides train station.

Location was fantastic and the rooms perfect. The bar was lovely and cosy. The spa was great. The food was delicious and well presented.

- Great breakfast with wide selection of protein, vegetables and fruits - Excellent staff - at reception, ski shop and the bar & breakfast area as well as shuttle drivers - always cheerful and helpful - One of the concierges (a young lady who was working on 08/02) was efficient and very helpful in solving an issue we had with a ski pass - Room and common areas were clean - Good size sauna and pool

Beautiful hotel, really nice room, breakfast excellent, spa really nice and good ski hire. Reception and concierge staff excellent as well as shuttle bus divers. Ski to door. View from room breathtaking.

“Not a good value for money”
Val Thorens mountains are amazing! Rooms were okay. The rest - didn’t like. Ski in/ski Out was okay as well! Hugo- was great!
