“fantastic will be back spring!!”
Kandahar is a beautiful old alpine style hotel right in the middle of val-d'Isaire, very clean with great staff (all fluent in English) and everything is easy ...ski-lockers opposite the front door and 10 minute walk to all the big lifts

“Our favourite place to stay in Val d’Isere, every time!”
Perfect central location, yet quiet. Welcoming, kind and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Comfortable, functional, spacious accommodation with plenty of storage and luxurious bathroom. Excellent locker room for ski equipment, boots etc.

“The perfect 3* stay in the heart of Val d’Isere.”
The staff were charming, helpful and extremely accommodating (e.g. my request for gluten-free bread, extra pillows etc). The location is perfect for accessing the slopes, shops, ski hire, bars and restaurants. The hotel was beautifully clean in all areas. Amazingly thick blackout curtains which worked a treat. Would definitely stay again.

Central location in town. Rooms were comfortable enough. Staff were friendly. Beds were firm, which I like. Rooms were warm.

prime location along the main promenade. we also arrived very late and they checked us in with no problems.
