The hotel was excellent and run almost entirely by the owners, Mary and Stéphane. They were extremely welcoming and friendly, and worked hard to ensure that all their guests were well looked-after. During our stay, there was exceptional snow, which caused problems with the road. They kept us up to date on WhatsApp at all times with the latest situation about bus services and road conditions. Mary and Stéphane clearly care a great deal about their hotel, which was originally run as a farm by Mary's great-great-grandfather. Their attention to detail is clear everywhere. We were absolutely delighted with our stay.

The Hosts, were incredibly kind and lovely to us. The chalet is exactly what we were looking for and more. Me and my girlfriend loves the hotel rooms and coming back to a nice clean, fresh room was exactly what we needed after a long day skiing.

We really enjoyed the place, the room and the host. They are very lovely and kind. They helped us a lot and they were always nice. The breakfast was really good, everything so delicious and fresh. The best place to be in Val-d'Isère.

The property is located in a gorgeous little village just outside Val d’Isère, in a quiet area with great outdoor views. The facility is perfectly maintained, rooms are nice & clean, breakfast is great. The owners are very nice, very knowledgeable and of very good advice

“Perfect in every way !”

This small, family run hotel is an absolute gem . The service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble . Location was perfect , a very short walk from the bus stop with shuttles every 5 mins during the day and evening running in the evening until 2am! Ski to the door or take a very short ride into the centre on Val D’Isère. Integrated boot room and mini spa. We will definitely be back !

Very nice location. The place was really amazing. We arrived late, but they waited for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was little but comfortable with great view. The breakfast was also good. This was one of the best accommodations during my long tours. 10/10!

We stayed at Hotel Chalet du Fornet for 6 days and the purpose of our travel was skiing. The hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are modern and provide a cosy ambience, ideal for relaxation. We also used the jacuzzi/hamam/sauna facilities which were also great and a nice amenity to have after a day in the mountains. The hotel is also very calm, situated at a nice small village with very good transport to the main lifts of Val d' Isere. Most important of all though is the warm-hearted owners, Stephan and his wife, who are always kind and smiling, willing to provide the best service and accomodate every out-of-the-box request of their clients!
