The location

We stayed here 3 years ago and came back this year as we loved the amenities and the free shuttle to the slopes. The amenities are still great and the shuttle is good although we remember there being more consistently 2 of them running, this year it was usually 1, which meant it was very busy/full.

The apartment was excellent, very comfortable, spacious, and well-decorated. The condominium facilities were also great. We especially enjoyed the outside jacuzzi.

Location is really good, the unit has everything you could need.

Free Shuttle is very convenient. They even have an app showing location of shuttle in real time. Need to run to the supermarket...just let them know...they will take you and pick you up when you are ready. Vail bus also takes you to the Simba Run Condominiums rear door! So you always have an option, even after hours. Great pool and two jacuzzis, one indoor and one outdoor. Staff was awesome! You can easily see this is a very well administered facility.

The condo unit is reasonable size but with an unusual layout. You enter the unit at the upper floor with a small entry hall that doubles a laundry area and leads to one of the two bedrooms (twin beds). You have to use the stairs to get down to the main living area and master bedroom (king bed). The kitchen was reasonably well appointed (dated, but not uncomfortably so) and our unit had a reasonable supply of cookware, dishes and glassware. The shuttle service is EXCELLENT, which is important as there is not much in walking distance and the free town bus is not very frequent to the lodge. They were running 2 shuttles even mid-week so there was rarely a wait, and you could see where the shuttle was with an app. If none were en-route, you could call the front desk and they would be there in a few minutes. We used the hot tub/pool facilities which were clean, suitably sized so we weren't packed in, and had good hours. The parking is covered which is a big plus on a snowy day. The ski locker was just big enough for 4 sets of skis and poles, but worked fine and is convenient to the shuttle loading area.

Good shuttle service, helpful staff at reception. Warm & clean. Was nice to have an open fireplace. Good laundry setup in room. Storage lockers for skis.

the location was great! price was affordable, best in best is there is hotpool at the inside and outside, the outside is amazing during the snow, it also got kitchen that helps u don’t need go to expensive restaurants in vail every single meal.

It was super central the location. Amazing the room and the view we had. very well equipped with Gym, transfert to and from the town.

we were charged a daily cleaning fee but the apartment was not cleaned during the stay, the apartment was labelled as premium but was in poor condition. the published shuttle times are inaccurate, last shuttle was 21:00 but we had made dinner reservations based on the advertised 22:00.
