We absolutely loved the Olive room, its cozy atmosphere.Having access to the lovely living room next to our room made the stay feel even more comfortable and homey. The views from the villa were breathtaking, especially surrounded by the peaceful Tuscan hills and olive trees. Breakfast was also wonderful! fresh croissants with incredibly delicious homemade jam became one of our favorite little moments of the stay.

This is a great stay for everyone who is in search of a quiet and peaceful place where you wake up with the sound of birds and an occasional rooster call:) Alessandra is the most welcoming and caring host. The rooms are cozy and breakfast is wonderful with homemade jams and juices. The location is a great starting point for making day trips to Florence, Lucca, etc.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of homemade products. Allessandra and Herr stuff were super attentive and kind and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She stayed up late to allow us to check in outside of business hours and made several inquiries and phone calls on our behalf since we unfortunately don’t speak Italien. She’s a gem!

Alessandra was so kind and helpful, we felt really welcomed. The property and surroundings were just exceptional, you could smell the herbs and flowers in the air. I also loved the house, it's so nicely redone - every detail is so thought out, you just feel the warmth of this old beauty. I fell in love. We really enjoyed the breakfast at the garden with most amazing view. If you want a quiet peace of heaven with an excellent starting point for exploring Tuscany, you are in the right place. Highly recomended.

Everything. After a long walk in the beautiful cities of Tuscany this place is a little cosy heaven. Alessandra is the best host ever. Always smiling, always helpful.

We had an enjoyable family stay in this beautiful villa. The building is full of interesting history and our two family rooms along with private bathroom were peaceful and tastefully decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfasts were very good, with choices available to suit different tastes and the home made jams and preserves were amazing! Allessandra and her son Tomas were excellent hosts and happy to help in every way possible. This is a good base for day trips to historical towns and to enjoy the local way of life.

We had some extremly good days here together with our host Tom. He was very supportive and gave us a lot of information regarding our trips to Florence. From the early morning until late evening he was available and happy to help. Breakfast was served under some wines with a stunning view over the surroundings - quite good start into the day! The location as such is a little bit hidden in the nice landscape (car needed) and absolutely quiet. Sad we had only a few days so couldn't really use all the possibilities. For a trip to Florence this is a quite good base and you can take the train.

The property was situated in an idyllic mountain backdrop, with beautiful fields and views surrounding it. The amenities were all in impeccable condition and our hosts made us feel very welcome. They went above and beyond in order to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We certainly hope to visit again!

“Romantic and quiet Tuscany”

Unbelievably beautiful accomodation set in a lovely quiet countryside. It was our first time in Tuscany and this place has set the bar incredibly high. The host was wonderful, very inviting and helpful. The place was clean, comfortable and enjoyable. Lots of place to relax with only the sound of the countryside. The place makes their own olive oil, jams and honey which they served plenty at breakfast, which was served directly to you in the garden.

Tom was very friendly and everything was great. We have had a horrible weather but nice atmosphere this hause and helpfull staff help us to smile everytime and be happy together.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and traditionally decorated, and the property is so lovely and rural. So much space for the children to run and play, and beautiful surroundings! Lovely ample breakfast!

A truly wonderful place. Tom and his family and team are great hosts: uncomplicated, friendly and often very helpful in terms of recommendations. Very good breakfast, you can also book dinner, we had a variety of fresh and very tasty tuscan specialties. It is 20 min from Prato, but you can use the train from Prato to visit towns like Florence and Lucca. we really enjoyed the little Jacuzzi pool and the tranquility, the cricket sounds and pine scented air. great olive oil, too. We would love to come back some time.

Fabulous, we had a wonderful few days at the Ponticello, a very warm welcome which immediately made us feel comfortable, a beautiful building and surroundings, very comfortable, large and well furnished rooms, amazing breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the valley including fresh fruits and eggs from the farm, great outdoors jacuzzi which kept the kids happy, the owners are incredibly kind and courteous and full of information about the area, restaurants, wines, sightseeing etc, we'll definitely be back.

“Heaven...”

If heaven on earth existed, it would be here. What a great place to relax. After a friendly welcome, we were escorted to our room. A large room with a view of the domain, everything in order. And then the breakfast...heavenly. Freshly made jam of cherry, plum and a delicious fig. Freshly baked cake by Mama Alessandra, eggs in every form, croissant and still warm bread rolls. Fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and flakes. The "cold spa/bubblebath" is a refreshing welcome after a day of walking, cycling,... I could write books about Tom's helpfulness, but I'll keep it short...we haven't had better in the 30 years we've been travelling. For us, this was a top place to stay that we discovered partly by bike (Lake Balencino) and partly by car in Florence, Prato. One thing is certain, we will be back... Forgotten...for an extra charge you can also eat there in the evening. In a romantic setting, local dishes are offered, prepared by Tom and his mum. All this accompanied by a delicious local wine. Definitely try it, it's even better than eating in a restaurant.

This location is just wonderful! Wordless! We felt at home with the special attention and dedication of Tomazzo and Ms. Alessandra. They were very loving and caring for my family. We felt very welcomed. The view from the place is breathtaking. Breakfast is a dream! Tuscany has always been a dream of ours to visit, and choosing "Il Ponticello" made this dream even more special. A big hug to the whole family of Mrs. Alessandra! We wish God continue to bless you a lot!
