Hospitality with love and care. Well managed and peaceful location in 30 mins from busy florence for a peaceful night sleep. The smile, welcome and cakes says it all. Thank you.

This location is for people who like trees. It is far from the city. In my opinion, people who want a stay out of town or have a car only should stay. The town is small. Not directing this to hotel staff directly, but the people in the town should be more helpful and respect tourists who are passing through. Some water in the room or a kettle should be a must for this property. Transportation issues should also be flagged and communicated well to tourists. Maybe there should be a local shuttle service if there are transport strikes or deviated and/or suspended services. That would be my suggestion. Otherwise tourists will need to try really hard to communicate to get anywhere at all with public transport, and may need back up plan (if one is possible).

This hotel has been here for a long time. It’s a little worn round the edges but that adds to its charm. It’s scrupulously clean and everything worked well. A peaceful nights sleep don’t let the station put you off. The hosts were lovely a home baked breakfast 10/10

The hotel met all my expectations from reading previous reviews. In particular, it is hugely well placed for the railway station.

I booked this hotel because I expected to be one cosy familly hotels. Not at all.

Clean and comfortable place. It is next to the train station (train takes you to Florance in about 30mins), easy to find. Staff was nice and friendly and there was everything in the room that one needs for a few days stay. The breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of options to chose from (cakes, yoghurt, croissant etc).

I liked everything. The design and atmosphere of the hotel is suitable for the nature around it. I must confess I have never tried the cakes that were served for the breakfast. I even asked for the recipe. I believe it is excellent value for money.

A lovely atmosphere of a rather forgotten Italian village. We stayed here since it was the cheapest option around this part of Via Degli Dei. Would recommend.

Hotel is located next to the train station (but in the same time it’s very quiet) with good connection to Firenze. We left the car near hotel, there’s a lot of free parking spaces available. We were amazed with hospitality and kindness of the owner. Room was very clean and cozy (with a huge bed!), with the great view. Breakfast is one of the main reasons why you should stay in Albergo Padellino! Delicious cakes and great coffee. We had a great time here and will definitely recommend this place to everybody. It’s a unique place with special atmosphere, you can feel that owners put their hearts there.
