“Worth about 1/3 the price they are charging”
I asked for a room on the higher floor with a nice view and although the hotel was far from full, I got a room on the second floor with a view of the parking place. The price per night was in the initial advertisement 78€ but at the end I paid 130 (without breakfast), not even sure how we got that high. Later I learned they have renovated and old rooms (all fall under "standard"). I was shoveled to the old one of course. There was nothing in the room, no iron, ironing board, shoe spoon, kettle, tea or fridge...nothing. All the staff looked annoyed. I went to the spa where I was also a few years ago. This time the showers smelled with poop and tiles in showers and the swimming pool area were covered in red bathroom mould. It looks as if the whole place was at the end of its lifespan. I would take kids there only if I saw in the news that they did deep cleaning of the whole place. This experience was also bad enough for me not to use booking.com any more. I get an incomparably higher standard at Sokos or Lapland hotels for the same or lower price.

“A great stay.”
Nice room with comfortable beds. Shower powerful and bathroom clean and fresh. View from window of sea so lovely. Breakfast was full of options for everyone and displayed to a very high standard. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Parking was free too.

Close by the ferry terminal. Free parking within vicinity after registering vehicle during check in. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good and has plenty of choices. Pretty standard for the Scandic chain of hotels.

“A good place to stay.”
The front of house staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was super clean with a decent bathroom and a comfortable bed. The room had the biggest TV I've seen in a hotel!. The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of food, presented beautifully and in a pretty room with a lovely view.

“Nice place in Vaasa for kids and families!”
Great location, surrounded by seaside. Nice breakfast, aquapark facilities in the same building, playrooms and volleyball and public sauna. Great place for kids!
