Astor locates accross Vaasa railway station and is excellent place to stay when arriving by train. Hotel is cozy and has a good style and tradition.

I really liked the atmosphere it was so much better than the typical chain hotels with it unique decor and charming elevator. The room was spotless and comfy plus larger than we accepted. Who doesn't love a hotel breakfast ... and it did not disappoint, wonderful selection and seating . And location was easy to get to and parking was a great benefit.

“Very comfortable stay on a business trip”
ONe of the best breakfast ever. Fresh fruit like kiwi, honey melon and passion. Berries with the youghurt. Cloudberry jam with lots of berries. smoked salmon. All standard stuff. The room was dark, slient, and good temperature. Comfortable bed, four pillows to choose one.

“Second time here, pleasant stay near centre of town.”
Nice hotel near bus and trainstation as well as close to centre of town. Our room was nice and cosy and breakfast was good.

Great location close to the railway station. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. The reception staff were very helpful too. They even had umbrellas to use during the rainy evening!

“Vaasa visit”
We arrived 2.30am it was not a problem. The staff are super efficient and polite. Breakfast was superb. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The location was 5 mins walk from the city centre.

“A nice little Santa cozy style hotel in a nice little city.”
The Lady that was at the Check-In was super friendly and explained everything so easily. We found the parking very quick. It's close to the hotel. The furniture in the room is older but very clean and has it own charm. The breakfast was very nice and had many options. It seemed like that they handmade most of the food at the Buffet. The breakfast room was cute too. It looked like we are in Santa's living room.

Excellent breakfast with nice local choices. In front of the railway station so easily accessible. Nice small boutique hotel in comparison to the big major hotels. Comfortable rooms. Bathroom maybe not very modern, but functional and spacious enough.

“Dated but Nice”
Very handy location , dated but very clean - single bed didn't work for me - Breakfast was amazing
