“Superb apartment and location in Uzes”

The location next to main square “place aux herbes” but yet very quiet, the apartment is superb with plenty of space, charming and well laid out, and finally our host Houda who was extremely nice and welcoming.

Everything was perfectly appointed and beautifully presented. The separate spaces worked well to give both spaciousness and a feeling of privacy. The hosts were delightful, extremely helpful and thoughtful. The location was brilliant.

This is a superb, ground floor apartment in what was formerly a mansion (hence the name - Hotel de Flaux), It is in the shadow of the Kings Tower and metres away from the Place aux Herbes.

So this is one of the best equipped and cleanest apartments we have stayed in - perfect for people who want to do a bit of self catering after shopping in the brilliant market - the kitchen had everything we needed with a good fridge freezer and cooker. The apartment was really lovely in an old stone building in a locked pedestrian only courtyard - very quiet and private. It is probably 1 minute walk across the street into the Place Herbes and you are close to everything as a result! We also liked the fact we had a washing machine and tumble drier as we were in week 3 of our holiday! The agent also can arrange for secure parking across the town for 20 euros for a week which was essential as parking is difficult to get in Uzes unless short term. You should note that you dont really have outdoor space to sit in but in the heat of summer the apartment is relatively cool.

The location is superb, just off the Place aux herbs but extremely quiet; within easy walking to boulangerie, patissierie, and a vast array of shops; and, of course, the twice-weekly market!! Excellent privacy with separate entry. Beautiful and efficient interior design and decor. Note that the bedroom is open on either side of the bed, so quite spacious despite the photos. Very comfortable, large bed; adequate, well-designed clothes cupboard. Washer and Dryer! Person who met us was friendly and extremely helpful, guiding us to the apt, arranging parking, etc.; assuring that we had all we needed, and through in checking us out; also available throughout our stay as needed. Private parking available nearby for €30 for the entire stay! Superb!
