We loved the location. We just stayed for one night in Uyuni and the Hotel is very central. It felt like a good choice for one night. Be aware that it can get quite hot during the day.

Location and tasty simple breakfast. The receptionist/cleaner tried to help us but the owner/manager on the phone was disgusting. So she was between a rock and a hard place really.

It was quirky staying in an old train wagon. Was in great condition, clean & safe. Very hot during the day and cold during the night but provided with heater for the night and air con (we didn’t test as we were out during the day). We were flying out before breakfast time but they provided us with some basic breakfast before then anyway which was very kind and thoughtful

So basically there are only 3 wagons, if you do not make the booking for the "wagons" you end up sleeping over the train station. It was a bit of disappointment, and it was also quite cold in July in the room.

“Decent budget stay”

Very central & not too expensive. However it doesn’t specify that only specific rooms are actually train wagons, the marketing is abit misleading. Instead we were staying in a very warm man made room that resembled a large wardrobe. The walls are incredibly thin and there are lots of noises throughout the night and in the morning when staff start working. The breakfast was passable, very minimal in our opinion - better than nothing. We had to wait a while for check in because the owner wasn’t present even though we arrived well within check in time. The bed had a huge dip in it and I literally felt as though I was falling off the bed all night and it was not comfortable or soft. If you’re on a budget and not staying long, this is a decent option but we did find that our stay wasn’t as nice & private as we’d have hoped for considering how much travel you have to do to actually reach uyuni & considering that you may be suffering from altitude sickness.

“No wagons but tiny noisy rooms”

The location is good, near the centre and the bus terminal. The check-in was slow because the staff needed to confirm everything via WhatsApp with someone. The room was unfortunately not in a wagon, but next to the reception. For changing the room, a fee as high as the room price was requested despite the official price for the other room being lower than the actual one. The breakfast is okay.

I loved the room, and exactly as expected. The staff was super friendly and the check-in experience was smooth. I arrived early in the morning, and the room was made ready a bit in advance.

Perfect location and friendly staff. Fan in the room to help circulate the very hot temperature inside.
