Amazing stay, loved the place. Kyla was a great host, we will miss our morning visits from Wendy! The best part is you are surrounded by rainforest which creates a remote atmosphere, but this does require a 4*4 car!

“Heavenly! Beautiful house in a beautiful setting with a great view!”

The surroundings of Dominical and Uvita are beautiful. Long beaches, beautiful bays and rugged rocks against a mountainous, tropical jungle. Dominical in particular is a nice small village with nice and good restaurants. Tim and Kayla have created a heavenly place with their beautiful homes. We had the house with a large, shaded terrace on the north, but with all-round views to the west (sunset!) and the east. There you can hear and see many birds, especially early in the morning. We saw beautiful toucans and parrots there, among other things. Be sure to bring binoculars! During the night, but especially between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, you can hear the howler monkeys clearly. Sometimes far away and if you are lucky, very close! We could also see them moving through the treetops for a moment. How beautiful. Set your alarm early and you won't regret it. The house on stilts (your car is underneath in the shade) is simply beautiful! Modern, spacious, beautiful, great energy. All-round view of the beautiful nature. Tastefully decorated with some beautiful artwork by Kayla. Beds, kitchen and bathroom are very nice. You can also use the sofa as an extra sleeping place. Sleeps well! The lovely terrace and the great view (terrace and house have nice fans) are a big plus of this house. Thanks to the large sliding doors (mosquitos everywhere), you are actually always outside. Delicious! Perhaps curtains for both sliding doors could provide a little more privacy in the dark. The sunset can therefore be perfectly admired from this house. No need to go to Gusto for that (I wouldn't recommend it either). The road there is largely unpaved, very bumpy and sometimes steep. A 4x4 is recommended and therefore very doable. Payment must be made in cash or via Paypal. Credit card is not possible. Highly recommended!!

“Lovely hideaway in the jungle”

We loved every minute of our stay with Kyla and Tim. The casita is brand new and lays in the middle of the jungle with stunning sunset views. Sitting on the deck and hearing the monkeys and try to spot all the birds is amazing. You have the feeling you are on in a very remote place in the jungle which is in fact not the case as restaurants and beaches are not far. Kyla and Tim are lovely people and the breathwork session with Tim was excellent. Can really recommend booking this place. Bear in mind that the road towards the casita is a bit of a challenge and a 4x4 comes in handy!
