The appartment has a beautiful view and the included breakfast was very good. We saw some toucans and agoutis on the property. The owners are very nice and helped us out when our car broke down.

Everything, the room is comfy with good conditions. The view is unbeatable, even when laying down in bed. And the Gallo pinto for breakfast is delicious, that bread and Italian sausage are top!

“Italian flaire in the middle of Costa Rican nature with perfect sunsets”

The owners put lots of effort & love in refurbishing the lodges, making it a great place to stay! Close to nature (taking a shower felt like being right outside in the woods - but no worries, it‘s all inside ;) ) Great sunset - great breakfast, and also very good Italian restaurant!!! We could get clear, fresh water, had a fridge. On top of it all: Francesca, the warm-hearted Italian owner, who gave great tips what to do!

Rooms are basic but clean and spacious with comfortable large bed and all have ocean view. Five star breakfast served by italian owner with breathtaking view is perfect start to your day. They also run a restaurant with typical italian dish and great wines if you're tired of the local Imperal beer.

“I loved it!”

The most unbelievable view abov Jungle and Ocean. The rooms are basic, but its alodge, no Hotel. Familie owned it was very very nice hands on by the owners - and they have excellent Staff. Italian kitchen extraordinary for this part of the world. A stsy can realy be wholheartedly recomended!!

“Disappointing and not recommended, overpriced for this not clean and very basic room.”

The view was from the balcony was really nice.

The view is amazing - the hotel is up on the hills above Playa Hermosa, so you can sit and watch the ocean (and hear the waves crashing!). Toucans flit around the trees - didn't see any monkeys, but we were awakened by howler monkeys, a most efficient alarm clock! Be aware that the rooms are cabins without a/c, but all feel nice and secluded with ocean and/or jungle views!

Amazing view - the pictures don’t even show how pretty it actually was. Maybe the best view I ever had in my life. Stuff was really friendly. The owners made amazing breakfast and Italien dinner. Special thanks to Eric for his service and help!!

This was our third visit! We love the location, and the owners are helpful and very friendly.

The view was perfection. It made it hard to leave for the beach each morning! As for the food, genuinely, it was absolutely incredible! I ordered two entrees for myself each night just to enjoy as many first generation genuine Italian dishes as I could. Two words: Carbonara & Ravioli. They were like heaven.
