“Amazing, just wish we could have stayed longer”

This place is amazing, a truly hidden gem. It is modern, clean and with fantastic facilities. The hosts are amazing, great communication from the moment you book. Very responsive to all requests. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Relative new and well maintained. Marcella is really kind and friendly. Is able to anticipate towards her guests. A plus is that she actively asked for feedback. Restaurants within walking distance, as well as a nice little waterfall where you can have a swim. At night it was quiet.

“Fabulous accommodation in Uvita”

Everything! The location was quiet but near restaurants and cafes. The on site owners Sandro and Marcella were lovely and very helpful. The villa was beautifully designed and decorated, private with a little outdoor seating area. The pool was small but sufficient. They had left coffee, milk, beer and bananas for us. We would highly recommend it.

Our stay at Madre Terra was simply fantastic. If we could, we’d give more than 10 points! Marcello and Sandro are amazing hosts who really know what they’re doing. They have a fantastic eye for detail and take care of absolutely everything. The rooms are thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, and we felt completely at home. We were warmly and kindly welcomed, and the whole experience was definitely one of the best we’ve had in Costa Rica. Highly recommended!

“An amazing stay in Costa Rica!”

If you’re coming to Uvita this is the place to stay in! The villas are new, thoughtfully decorated and equiped, easy to locate and close to restaurants/mercados. The pool is clean and well mantained. Although there are more villas on the property you have a sense of privacy. Marcie is super responsive and helpful! We loved staying here so much we changed our travel plans to come back for a few more days!

Very nice & cozy accommodation. Recently renovated, beautiful swimming pool, well designed "cabinas". Comfortable and brand new beds. Great service and sweet and helpful staff. Location is good, if you need to be close to the Awake center or the area around Cafe Vivo. If you need to go to the beach each day, you will be a bit too far unless you have a car.

Marcie and Sandro were really welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The property was perfectly clean and well appointed. Nice pool. Nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. Waterfall and natural pools also within walking distance

“Beautiful place to stay”

Madre Terra is the perfect place to just 'be'. The rooms are so comfortable and the vibe so chilled that you won't want to leave. Relax in the pool, say 'hello' to the dogs, grab some food from the nearby restaurants or just lounge around on the sunbeds, it's all there. Marci and Sandro are so friendly, helpful and just add to the already relaxed atmosphere. Also the attention to detail and thought put into the rooms didnt go unnoticed. Staying with them is exactly what we needed.

“Relaxed and very comfortable”

Well looked after, so clean, tidy and modern. The rooms have really great air conditioning, the pool is wonderful to cool off. There is a communal shaded area to sit and relax outside of your own unit. The host is very friendly. I chose to have breakfast there which was fresh and healthy. Great start to the day. Very safe and secure. Close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. You need to rent a bike if you would like to get to the beach.

Great stay. Loved that the windows and doors are fully screened so we could leave them open all night and avoid having to use the AC. Bed was comfy and shower was good too. Location is also vg, just a minute from town. Wifi also works very well. Howler monkeys woke us up in the morning which never gets old.

The apartment, the nice and clean pool, the extremely nice host Demetrio who gave many tips around Uvita and the amazing breakfast. We would definitely stay at MADRE TERRA again!

A quiet location with just three units in the small complex. Our unit was bright and comfortable very useful to have a fridge and coffee maker. It was great to have the pool to cool down in. The breakfast was delicious for $10 each.
