“Fantastic”

Fantastic stay at Forest Lodge. The hosts are very nice and very helpful. Trees and many birds surround the house. It's like being in the middle of a jungle. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

The Pool was awesome. I loved the wood of the cabins. I liked living right in the forest with the trees on our balcony.

Wonderful stay at Forest Lodge. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty. The cottages are beautifully hidden in lush nature, very clean, new and well equipped. Because they are spread out across the property, you feel a lot of privacy. Sitting outside and hearing the cicadas in the evening was a magical experience. Highly recommended!

Very nice lodge in the middle of the forest. The lodges are clean and comfortable. The couple that runs the lodge is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is perfect too! Would highly recommend.

Forest Lodge was in the perfect location for us, we were driving from Monteverde to Corcovado and it was the prefect stop off. It’s set just back off of the main road but it’s surrounded but trees and plants and many birds. There is a lovely pool which was perfect for a quick dip and to cool off. The cabin itself was lovely. Quite small but that wasn’t a problem for us. A beautiful balcony to sit outside and watch the birds and the small lizards. There was a communal kitchen that you could use if you wanted to. We chose to walk to a local restaurant and have a little stroll to the beach instead. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

A wonderful place to stay in Uvita, close to nature. Cozy, very clean lodges in the middle of the forest, equipped with everything you need. Nice owners who serve delicious breakfast themselves and give very good tips for activities in the area. The only downside are the sometimes noisy trucks on the nearby road at night.

“Interesting place”

This lodge is in the middle of the jungle next to the main road. The bungalows are scattered around the property and can be accessed by walk or car. The space is ok, all in wood, with big windows, a fan and a balcony. No luxury. There is a common kitchen with everything, which can be used and is really nice.

Really nice an clean cabins in nature. Wonderful owners that shared a lot of information and helped us really well after some bad luck we encountered in the neighborhood. Would definitely come back!

What a gem this hotel was! We really enjoyed staying at the lodge and wish we had stayed for more than a night.

Incredible place. Quiet, surrounded by nature, clean, parking space, balcony, fridge, kitchen, swimming pool, all amenities, great breakfast and super helpful hosts. Without exaggeration, of the 5 places we stayed in Costa Rica, this was the best place we stayed. I recommend it to everyone.

The bungalows were quite nice and new. we liked the surrounding how they nicely placed them in the forest. it was clean and nice.

“Excellent jungle hideaway.”

Great location, amazing garden with rich vegetation and plenty of birds. A dip pool, very well maintained, cozy bungalows. An absolutely superb base for exploring the area. A short but steep climb with car to the entrance, can be a bit tricky when wet.

“An oasis in the forest!”

We stayed at the Forest Lodge for two nights. The cabins are beautiful- especially the front porch with its hammock chair and views of the sunset. We went to sleep and woke up to the sounds of birds. Marc and his wife were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious- fresh fruits, eggs, yougurt, cake! You can walk to the beach in 20 minutes. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

“Great location and cozy cabin!”

Great location near the center of Uvita but you feel as if you’re in the middle of the jungle. Spacious rooms and cozy outside sitting area. The host was really nice to pack us a breakfast package because we were leaving before breakfast.

Beautiful place in the jungle with many flowers and colorful plants. The wooden bungalows are very nice and comfortable. You wake up with voices of birds all around. Everything is very clean and well kept. The breakfast is super tasty with big choice. The owners are very kind and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent. Scrumbled eggs, toast, fruits, smoothie, piece of cake, coffee and milk.
