“A lovely hideout in Uvita”

A clean, spacious, nicely decorated and relaxing environment. We had lots of fun cooking in the outside kitchen, sitting in the hammock and hanging out with Carlos the cat 🐱. Our host Claudio was also easy to contact, friendly and accomodating.

Breakfast not applicable. Realy appreciated the surroundings and attention to detail of the design of the building plus extra items, beautiful soaps etc. Host charming and courteous.

Very nice place to stay. Close to Uvita and the actions in the Nat Park. Excellent quick communication with the host (Claudio) at the time when we had trouble with the electric gate.

“Memorable!”

I stayed at Chico Rico in November of 2023. I loved it! It's not on the beach side of Uvita so if you prefer walking distance to the beach, this wouldn't be the place. But I knew that, and it was gorgeous, nonetheless. The property is surrounded by lush rainforest. I could hear howler monkeys and even saw iguanas jumping from tree to tree. Yes, they jump! I had no idea. The studio is exactly how it is in the photos. It was clean, comfortable, and excellent Wifi too. Which is important to me because I am a remote worker. The location is close to several restaurants that you could walk to. One being a vegan restaurant owned by the host, Claudio. It's called Indomitos and is excellent!! Claudio is an exceptional host who is kind and helpful and responsive to any inquires that I had. There is ample space to park if you rent a car. I enjoyed my stay here and I recommend it 100%.

“Amazing little studios in nature”

The studios are perfect with all amenities you need to feel comfortable. Private pool is lovely. Claudio is an amazing host super attentive and responsive. You can get food delivered from his excellent vegetarian restaurant straight on your terrace. Watching the hummingbirds flying around was definitely a bonus.

“Perfect stay in Uvita!”

Absolutely perfect stay! The property was better than shows in the photos! Claudio was the perfect host! Great communication throughout! He was very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants and supermarkets etc. he regularly checked in to see if everything was ok and if we were enjoying ourselves, but also ensured we had our privacy. The outside area was perfect. Well equipped kitchen with high quality equipment. Including, hob, blender, coffee machine etc. kitchen roll, sponges and tea towels all included. The jacuzzi is was very clean and perfect after a day at the beach or exploring. The hammock was great also. Very private area as well. No one can see into the area. Parking right next to the property. The bathroom was extremely clean with a powerful hot shower. Good quality towels included. The bed was huge and very comfy! High quality duvet included. Comfiest bed we had in Costa Rica! A/c worked perfectly and was also quiet. With a car, everything is close by. Restaurants, supermarket and beach all with 5-10mins. I would 100% recommend this property if you are staying in Uvita! Thank you Claudio!
