I try to never leave a bad review, but in this case I have to express my disappointment in both booking.com and the property. My reservation was officially confirmed by booking.com at 9am....I then travelled a very long way on my own to arrive at the designated arrival time (allocated at 17:00-18:00)....at 17:30 the host email to say I couldn't stay. I had already arrived and so was stuck in a rural location, lone female traveller, low budget with no accomodation. It's unfair, not justified, unprofessional and most significantly dangerous to accept and confirm a booking and then cancel at the very last minute after the client has arrived. Booking.com said that their support team would help "as soon as possible" to rectify the problem and find a solution, but it's now been 18 hours! No refund, no reply, no support, no empathy. Unbelievable. I can't believe booking.com / the host can do this to a loan traveller.
