Mystic Sands is situated right on its own private beach, and has a pier for picking up guests on diving and whale watching trips. Guests enjoy free use of kayaks. All accommodation includes a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee plunger and a 2-burner stove. Beachfront rooms with private patio are available. Facilities include free luggage storage and a shaded BBQ area with outdoor seating. Massages are available in the rooms or on the beach. Surrounded by tropical gardens, Mystic Sands Tonga is a 10-minute drive from Neiafu town centre. Vava’u Airport is a 20-minute drive away. There is a beachfront restaurant located just next door.

“Easily the best place to stay in Vava’u”
Absolutely magnificent stay. Peta, Mau and Kjell took wonderful care of us. The beachfront villa was wonderfully appointed and breakfast served on the deck of our villa was perfect. The food cooked by Peta for dinner was plentiful and a delight. The location is idyllic and perfect in every way. Truly the place to stay in Vava’u.

I loved the quality of the rooms. they were way above expectation for a remote island in Tonga. Well done. Literally nothing was forgotten! The ability to have the hosts cook you lunch and dinner to your room was wonderful as it was all freshly cooked and to order. Loved that I could snorkel off the hotel shore. the pool was nice to relax in when it got hot. I know there was a kayak available to us but I didnt get a chance to use it unfortunately. I was recommended Ricky as THE Snorkel/ Island Tour Guide and he was absolutely great and I would highly recommend him. The ( Norwegian) Owner was lovely, came to chat and was very attentive and keen to ensure that everything was to my liking. Thank you that was not taken for granted at all. The Vavua Airport pick up was great, they were there and even took me by the supermarket to stock up on food before we headed to the hotel as it is remote. Worth doing this 100% for snacks, drinks you want ( other than water) . Loved that the rooms had a kitchen area so you really could cook youselves and be totally self sufficient..ideal for families here. WIFI was superb...always worked. this is a great place to get away from it all but very remote and isolated .

Lovely breakfast every morning Relaxing nice deck with awsome view into habour. Little wharf with tropical fish to look at. Kayaks are available to use, We did and it was great. Snorkeling was really good straight out front. We definitely will be comming back

A welcoming and relaxed setting. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed and the grounds and facilities well maintained. Friendly and unobtrusive service from an attentive team. Location is also sheltered from trade winds.

Peta aand Mau were attentive and responsive to all of our needs on behalf of the owners. It was a relaxing place to stay with the ability to snorkel, swim and kayak from the wharf. We would stay again in a eartbeat.
