“Great location”
Excellent location near to JR train station and us terminal. Lots of restaurants and food stalls in the shopping mall nearby within 200m. Cozy clean hotel. Helpful counter staff. Complimentary coffee and tea near check In area.

Near the station. There is a convenience store below and various options for dining. Good-looking rooms, good lighting, everything is great, we had a pleasant stay.

“For the price, it is likely possible to find somewhere else.”
The room (junior suite) that we had was big and gave us a lot of space. The parking availability on site and being near to the train station was helpful.

A good old fashioned high quality hotel at an excellent price. The staff went out of their way to help, with a smile. The room was enormous and very comfortable. What I liked was that the room was not new but had been excellently maintained and repaired with respect for the fabric of the building. The entrance foyer is quite spectacular, worthy of a 4 star in the UK.

“Terrible decrepit expensive room sold as premium room”
The only good thing was the location next to the Shinkansen station. The bed mattress was OK.

“Good value, big rooms”
The bedroom was very spacious. When I arrived, I found that I had booked a smoking room and error and they went out of their way to change our room to a non-smoking room. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

“Great place to stay for the practical traveller. Clean, large rooms, nice bathroom and excellent laundary.”
The rooms were larger than average for Japan. Big bathroom and nice lounge/desk area. Hotel had an excellent laundry with washing machine and dryer. Was value for money and well appointed for the practical traveller. Gyoza restaurant also located around the corner.

Easy to find from Utsunomiya station, very close to the station (walking 5 minutes). I could see the station from my room.

“Comfortable stay, great location, and good value.”
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to walk there without needing public transport. While the hotel itself is old-fashioned, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the check-in process was quick. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there’s a convenience store in the building, which is handy. For the price we paid, there’s really nothing to complain about—it’s exactly what you’d expect for the cost.
