Location is fantastic and lodges are very clever in how they use the space. They are well spaced from other lodges and they feel genuinely relaxing whilst on the cusp of the city.

The lodges are well-designed, spatious and smartly furnished. We adored the sauna, it's a huge advantage. The host is kind, prepared the apartment even before the official check-in and it was completely clean. It is situated at the outskirts of the city, in a calm environment.

I love the waterlinie lodges. We stayed here now for the third time. It's exceptional that you can stay in a modern lodge, but still at a 7min bike ride from the city centre. But it's also a 5 min bike ride from the forests of amelisweerd. The lodges are very well set up and therefore it feels spacious. We stay here with our daughter and she always loves it. The bikes that are available at the site are perfect. For food you have so many options, you are close to the city, but you can also order in from the well known delivery companies. Also, if you need something, the host is there in a heartbeat.

Modern, clean accommodation in peaceful setting amongst nature but easy to access the city by bike/taxi and nearer shops/restaurants on foot etc. Nice to have good initial supply of self-catering supplies provided (e.g. tea, coffee, toiletries etc). Friendly, responsive hosts.

Modern, clean and functional. Good beds and easy communication. We were a group of seven and enjoyed our stay! If we pass Utrecht we would come back, for sure.

Absolute perfect for families with small kids. We had a wonderful time in Waterline Lodges.

The lodge was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but our experience with the host was disappointing due to repeated rudeness and poor communication. We asked about early check-in, and she declined, which we understood, yet later told our friend that she had confirmed it and was waiting for us, creating confusion. She frequently interrupted our questions, told us to “hold on,” and insisted we read her e-guide, even after we explained we were traveling between cities and needed quick clarifications. The lodge is also quite far from the main road, and the final path is unpaved; our suitcases kept getting stuck in sand and mud, which we were not warned about. Upon arrival, she sent a long list of check-out instructions: washing dishes, collecting towels in a basket we never found, and disposing of trash in a specific bin that was also difficult to locate. With a bus at 9 AM and unexpected cleaning duties, plus the muddy road, we had to call an Uber to avoid delays. Overall, while the lodge itself was great, the host’s unprofessional behavior and challenging access significantly affected our stay.
