The hosts were fantastic. They stayed late to open up for us because we arrived late. The property far exceeded our expectations and was much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We loved the peaceful setting; the loudest sounds you will hear are the geese. It was lovely to wander green spaces and paths at your doorstep, but also have the convenience of the city close by. I am a runner and there is an extensive network of trails and paths from the doorstep so this was a bonus for me and felt very safe. We would highly recommend, and would return.

The place was exceptional - it was clean, modern and absolutely perfect . Location couldn’t have been better - everything was in 5min driving distance to Utrecht, and what we couldn’t get to by car, the bus could! Couldn’t ask for a better place - it’s definitely a place we will come back to

We had such an amazing stay at Domstad! The units are all brand new, spotless, and offer a very comfortable and peaceful setting for a longer stay. We were a group staying in two units and loved being surrounded by nature while still having easy access to the city. The bus stop is just an 8–10 minute walk away, making it very convenient to get around. The beds were super comfortable, and we appreciated the fans, spacious showers, and fully equipped kitchenettes. It was the perfect balance of calm and convenience. Dave was also incredibly helpful. From pointing out nearby grocery stores to assisting us whenever we needed anything. We felt well taken care of. We truly loved staying here and would definitely return. Thank you so much, Dave!

“No heating and unresponsive owner.”

Unfortunately the heating in one of the two cabins we rented did not work. We still had to pay the full price. We did not get an answer by the personnel or booking for refund claims. The owner ended up just not replying at all to any attempts to contact him. Left us with a really bad impression after we spent the freezing night in November there. Certainly we will never stay there again and further will refrain from using booking as an agency in the future.

Everything in the house was clean and ready for immediate use.

We absolutely loved this place! The host was very kind, understanding, and attentive. The apartments are surrounded by greenery — you really feel like you’re in nature. It felt just like home. The design of the house was very practical and everything was spotless. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back.

“Excellent place for enjoying the nature and calmness”

It was a simple booking via booking.com. But very quick communication with the resort: it was a question of late arrival and we received a quick answer and confirmation from the redort that they will wait for us. We have booked the small house which was practically new, very clean and cosy. The staff was very friendly and helps in any situation. Next time when I visit Ultrecht I will stay certainly here. The impressive location with the river and quiet place.

This was the second time my parents stayed at this place because it’s a very convenient place to stay in Utrecht. It offers a good solution for people that want to stay in a quiet place but still close to the city, which is located at a 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus/bike. The houses are furnished and have the essential stuff for cooking/eating and cleaning. Are surrounded by a park where you can have walks or you can bike.
