Overview
Set in an old forest of olive trees in the Maslina Cove, Apartments Oliva in Utjeha offers air-conditioned accommodation with cable TV, free WiFi access and a balcony. It is a 2-minute drive from the E851 State Road connecting Bar and Ulcinj. All units come with a mosquito net and a private bathroom with shower. Kitchen facilities in the apartments include a fridge and a tea/coffee maker. Guests are welcome to use the PC at the reception desk. A restaurant and 2 grocery shops can be found in the nearest vicinity. Rocky Beach Tourist Complex comprising swimming pools is just 20 metres from the guest house. The town of Ulcinj can be reached in 13 km along the E851, and the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Bar is 14 km to the north. The Albanian border is within a 30-minute drive from the Oliva. The owner was really friendly and nice, she greeted us with candy and was very helpful. The property is really well organised and clean, even though it was low season the owners were hard at work the whole time. It looks really nice for camping because the property is full of gorgeous old olive trees and is right on the beach. We were in an apartment, which was also very clean, comfortable and warm. It has everything you need and what I really liked was the bedding. It's personal taste but a lot of places in Montenegro use sheets and blankets and this place offered a duvet, which I prefer. The location is very quiet off season which was great for us as we don't mind doing a bit of cooking and there's a small market nearby. If restaurants are your thing you are a short drive away from many. All in all I really liked it and had a nice time. Simple, well priced accommodation in a beautiful setting. I love the olive trees.
