The owner is very kind, helping me arrange my late night arrival from the airport. I actually returned for a short stay before my flight because of the service and ease of communication. I enjoyed the food, the beachside location amongst local people and the distant view of the Colombo skyline from my room.

Maria is amazing

The stay was okay for one night and the room was simple but fine. The main problem happened in the morning. I had told the staff the night before that I needed to leave early for my flight, but when I went to check out around 7 AM there was no one at reception and the doors were locked from the outside, so I was basically stuck inside the hotel. I had to find a phone number online and call the manager to be let out. The manager came quickly and apologized, which I appreciated, but being locked inside a hotel without staff present is a serious safety concern. I hope this was just a one-time mistake and that it gets fixed for future guests.

We liked the service and hospitality from the staff especially Ms. Maria was out standing on her work. Kudos !!

Clean, spatious and with Great staff. We have spent only few hours there because we had late flight so we didnt use the pool and breakfast but pool looked great. Nice sunset and beautiful Colombo panorama.

This property is essentially a guesthouse being marketed as a hotel. While it is located near the seaside, there is no proper beach experience comparable to places like Dubai. Upon arrival, the area feels quite remote, almost like a distant village. Considering the facilities and location, the price charged is relatively high. In my opinion, it may suit local Sri Lankan tourists, but I would not recommend it for visitors coming from Dubai, the UK, or other international destinations expecting standard hotel amenities and atmosphere.

Great hotel made even more special by Maria the manager who was so kind & friendly.. Chef prepared a delicious vegetarian curry & the room was ultra specious & clean with a full view of beach & palm trees.

“Perfect stay around Colombo”

Great position just in front of the beach, nice relaxed area with friendly locals around, street food, fishermen, local stores. You are totally immersed in the life of the area with zero turistic vibes The staff in the Hotel was extremely nice and welcoming! I returned there twice during my stay in Colombo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable beds with a great view over the sea and the city of Colombo. Higly reccomended if you enjoy the beach and a relaxed stay while exploring Colombo and main attractions around that are easy to reach with a tuk tuk or taxi.

“Calm sweet haven at a very good price.”

We booked to be close to airport and were so pleasantly surprised! Delightful welcome from mariya - who was excellent and deserves every happiness - and a tasty lunch was cooked to order! Large comfy bed with fan and AC! Large walk in shower in en-suite bathroom! Walked to beach - it was full of locals (and a few cows!) cerebrating NY day - for a swim and then back to the pool! Also walked to cool local bar for a beer (no licence at hotel itself) and plenty of street food available. Also small supermarket nearby. We also got a transfer exactly on time to the airport! What more can I say but great little surprise and perfect for a night! Thank you Chris
