Situated at the base of the Martial Glacier just 3 km from Ushuaia’s centre, this hotel offers rooms with glacier or bay views, free private parking and free public Wi-Fi. Each of the Hotel Del Glaciar’s spacious rooms features large picture windows and wood accents. All are equipped with en suite bathroom facilities and TV. “Stunning views enhanced a great stay”
Wonderful location with stunning views of Ushuaia harbour and the Beagle Channel and the surrounding mountains. Easy distance to the city, national park and glacier. Rooms are well appointed. Nice breakfast buffet.

“Do not stay”
Food quality - extremely poor. Breakfast terrible. Eggs shells in the scrambled eggs. No taste. The options at the bar were terrible, tasted microwaved or not cooked at all. Room was extremely hot - I would turn down the heater and housekeeping would turn it up every time Reception staff were miserable, no smiles, no how was your stay, nothing. There is no shuttle as advertised - long drive into town.

the location has a nice overview over the harbour and also the snowy mountains, depending which side your room is situated. the only issue is that it is a bit far from the centre of the City itself, otherwise excellent.

“Stay somewhere else. We tried to book somewhere once we arrived, but would have had to pay twice...”
A visually beautiful location. Near the Martial Glacier walk. We rented a car which was good, I think getting taxis or a shuttle into town would be a pain. We ordered one from the hotel one night and it was 15 mins late, so kind of unreliable.
