“Great apartment with great location.”

Great host at a wonderful location, two blocks from the main street. A really big apartment with all the things you would need in your stay. The main bedroom was excellent with a great view to Martial Glacier.

Andre was so nice. He welcomed us on arrival and gave us lots of information and tips. All we needed was cost effective accommodation close to all the locations in downtown Ushaia. We ate out all the time so did not need to use the kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this apartment for the excellent hospitality from the host (Andre) and its location.

It was an excellent stay thanks to Andres and all! The apartment was comfortable and perfect location to the town, and Andres could not have been more kind or helpful - we would definitely return should we ever visit Ushuaia again.

Andres is very nice and he gives us a lot of suggestions to enjoy the place . Everything clean, warm and perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the view on the glacier is amazing.

Good communication with the staff who dealt with check in, providing tips and recommendations and help resolve an issue with the cooker very promptly. Good size and enough for a short stay in Ushuaia, and close to the city center. Kitchen well equipped. Heating working very well.

The staff is very nice and helpful, in the apartment you will find everything you need for a short stay. It's very close to the city center.

“An excellent, quiet and comfortable place to stay”

Andres could not have been more helpful and it was a delight to meet him and stay at one of his apartments. He has three or four tucked away behind his house on a quiet street about a 7-10 minute walk from the main street. The one we stayed in had two bedrooms, with a large kitchen/dining area. The bedrooms are upstairs, the loo and shower downstairs. The kitchen had everything necessary for preparing food, and included a microwave, sandwich maker, four ring gas hob and oven. Complementary tea was provided. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower fine once we worked out how to balance the hot water which Andes explained. Hearing is great and adjustable in each room. Andres provided lots of really helpful information about where to go and where to eat and was on hand for any enquiries. There is a great bakery at the end of the block, a small grocery store the next block up, and he suggested a place to rent a car about five minutes walk away (Austral Rental - worth thinking about if you are planning to visit quite a few places as it is cheap to do so and gives added flexibility). We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is great. You have everything you need. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the main road and very quiet. Andres the host is incredibly helpful, has great tips and makes the stay not a vacation but a home away from home.

“The place to live when in Ushuaia”

The apartment is beautiful. It has big windows. The heating warms up the room immediately. It’s located quite centrally in town. A very good bakery is just one block up. A good dinner place just a block to the right. The apartment is very clean. Andres is a very good host that makes you feel like at home and gives you all insights about Ushuaia you don’t find in a guide or on YouTube. So before booking something rather ask him first.

Andre was friendly and really helpful with information re local dining, tours and cambio. He let us use his washing machine and there was free use of his bikes. He picked us up from the bus station.It was a couple blocks up from the main street and close to the waterfront

“Very Good place to stay in Ushuaia”

Well-equipped and confortable apartment. Good location, in downtown and very close to all kind of restaurants and shops, also easy to access and park if you come by car from the airport. The host made the whole process very easy, and I thank him very much for the good tips and recommendations that made my days in Ushuaia much more interesting. If I have the chance to be back in Ushuaia I will choose Ukurj again, and I would also recommend to any family or close friend traveling to Ushuaia.

Andres the host is the nicest person I've met. My father got injured during one of the trips and Andres helped us with everything we needed. He even came to the hospital to help translate. Even after we left his apartment he stayed in touch with us and made sure we were OK. The apartment was spacious and warm and the kitchen is well equipped. It was amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who's staying in Ushuaia.

We had an amazing stay at Ukurj Apartamentos and recommend it 100%! The place is airy, spacious and has a perfect central location - it's close from a supermarket, restaurants and the port where you can take many great excursions on the Beagle Channel. The entire building is maintained with a lot of care. Andres (the host) is communicative, attentive, helpful and amazing person to be around!

“Excellent option for Ushuaia”

I had an amazing stay at Ukurj. The main reason for me to book this accomodation was the excellent reviews at Booking regarding Andrés, and I wasn't at all disappointed! He was very kind and welcoming, gave us great tips about Ushuaia and recommended some of the best restaurants we tried there. He's always willing to help and even offered to lend us money at our arrival in case we didn't had exchanged in advance. You won't be disappointed with him! The accomodation is very comfortable and close to the main street, there's a mini market nearby for daily groceries and a bakery with very delicious food! Everything worked fine and we didn't have any issues.
