Great location - close to Main Street - excellent patisserie next door for morning coffee, cake, pastries etc. good apartment with comfy beds. Nice to have the small kitchen - cooked dinner a couple of nights. Breakfast at hotel was very simple.

Breakfast was good and ample. Location in town but up a steep hill. Not for the elderly.

Great location - just a steep block away from the main street with restaurants and cafes. Lovely breakfast with some good options (behind the bar). Heating works amazingly and great to warm up after a day out in the cold.

“Helpful staff in an ideal location”

Hotel Austral Ushuaia offers both rooms and studio accommodations. It's ideally located within a 5-minute walk of the Montiel Viajas Bus Sur bus terminal. It's also very close to the main street, San Martín (with its many dining options), and the bay in the Beagle Channel. A delicious, extensive breakfast was included and served in a large common area. The helpful staff at the reception desk were happy to arrange an airport shuttle.

The hotel was located in a convenient place close to the main street, shops, restaurants. A small kitchen in the apartment was good for quick meals in the evening.

Location convenient for central Ushuaia (though up a short, steep hill). Free on-street parking outside the hotel and area seemed very safe at night. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Bed comfortable for good night's sleep.

“Ushuaia experience”

We stayed in hotel Austral for 3 nights. The room was big enough for us and the room temperature was perfect. There is a small convenience store a little up the street that was really helpful for snacks and water. The staff were friendly and they kept our bags for us after check out.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very well appointed with hooks, shelves and cupboard space. The 2 luggage racks were very welcome as you don't want to unpack everything. They even printed out our boarding passes for us. Would stay again.
