Breakfast was simple but delicious (eggs, local jam, ham & cheese, great coffee). The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff experience was exceptional - Pilar and Luis were welcoming, very helpful with suggestions / answering queries for activities in the area. The hotel is also conveniently located.

“Beautiful building, great sense of decoration, very good value”

I really fell in love with the building at first sight as it is both modern but with roots in the tradition of buildings in Ushuaia; there are lots of light inside the building and both my room and particularly the common areas are very spacious. Decoration is tasteful and furniture is both practical and comfortable, one could spend hours and hours without leaving the hosteria. This boutique hotel is great value at a cost of 65 Euros per night including breakfast. Location is good as one only needs to walk down the hill for five minutes to get to San Martin, the main street of Ushuaia. Excellent daily room cleaning service. And last but not least, Luis and Pilar, the manager and the receptionist, are professional, helpful and genuinely warm.

Felt right at home! Used the BBQ in their garden, had to work so spent time in the lovely common area looking out across garden. Lovely breakfast, rooms cleaned daily, and the staff were just wonderful! Highly recommend for a lush but homely stay!

One of the best features was the free transfer from the airport, so easy especially if you don't have cash! Hotel was very comfortable my room was a triple and had plenty of space for 3 people, bathroom very large, heating was excellent, bed comfortable, wifi good, staff were exceptionally helpful! I had lost my luggage and they gave me a lot of help with finding some incidentals. The view from my room was stunning! Ordinarily, the lack of curtains/blinds would bother me but due to the late sunrise, it was fine and the view was worth it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a small selection but nice. The room was a good size with plenty of storage for clothes. An excellent restaurant, Salitre, is nearby and was recommended by the staff. We ate there twice and had fantastic fish.

“Lovely stay in good environment”

Really nice communal and breakfast area. Even an outdoor Braai/bbq area which we utilised with wood provided by the Hosteria. Very nice ensuite room with kitchenette including basic cutlery and pots etc. loved our time here and well located.

Very kind, polite and helpfull service. There weren't any problems with earlier checkout and storing the laguage. Quite well located, close to the two good restaurants, supermarket and the beggining of the St Martin street..

“Cozy Stay in Ushuaia”

Hostería Foike is a gret option in Ushuaia. It is located close to the main street, is extremely clean and cozy (great heating). Luis, the owner, is very helpful and easy to reach out to. Breakfast is simple yet varied enough (eggs, toast, croissant, juice, apples). Water and wine are available 24/7 for a fair price. My room had a kitchenette, which I used to cook a couple of dinners and save a bit of money after two weeks on the road :)

It was really warm and welcoming with a cosy feeling. Amazing views from every window!
