“One of the best lodges”

Everything, defimitely one of the best lodges in Namibia

This was an incredible stay! We travelled for one month, and this was the only place we decided to spend one extra night. We felt so relaxed and comfortable, the pool was amazing and clean, staff excellent and we could spot giraffs, zebras and other animals. Can warmly recommend!

Large comfortable room with amazing outlook. Great pool overlooking waterhole. Breakfasts and Dinners taken outside or indoor were varied, well prepared and presented. The backdrop of the Erongo Mountains combined with spectacular sunsets were memorable. Will definitely make a return visit when next in the region.

“Immaculate place where you can enjoy yourself in nature.”

The people were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The view of the place is immaculate, I would literally stay one week on this place. Plus, you have the amazing experience of seeing animals whilst enjoying a cup of coffee ;)

Absolutely great place to stay, beautiful sunsets and delicious food. The receptions and accommodation was beautifully appointed. I would love to go back should the opportunity arrive. Loved the hikes and the bikes and of course exploring the surrounds.

The lodge is beautiful! The rooms are spacious and stylish, the food was great. The location was absolutely perfect for us. Loved the pool area - with some amazing mountain views. Next to the waterhole, you'd see all the time animals - loved it!

Beautiful lodge in a stunning natural setting. The views from the pool and terrace are amazing, especially at sunset, with the sun going down over the hills and animals coming to the waterhole, a perfect sundowner atmosphere. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped, with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. The pool area was great for relaxing, and although there were some insects in the pool, this is common in Namibia and not an issue for us. We also enjoyed having hiking trails directly accessible from the lodge. The New Year’s Eve dinner was good, and we really appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the staff, who opened the pool bar for us and stayed to celebrate with the guests. Special thanks to Simon and Nancy for the great cocktails and warm, festive service. Overall, a very relaxing stay with professional, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Big thanks to Nancy and Simon also for their professionalism.

Breaks fast, location, the food, room everything was really great. We were at different places of this group and where I cannot recommend the Oberland lodge in Ethoshia we can fully hearted support the Hohenstein lodge

The space was super, very clean and modern safari design with old school charm. Very comfortable and yet so close to nature… The food was super delicious.

Absolutely amazing place! In the middel of beautiful nature where you can watch sunset and animals coming to drink from the well. Beautiful rooms and main hotel area, very nice design. We have enjoyed morining bycikel ride in the open nature. We would love to come again.
