Super clean, Japanese style. Hughe room with a fantastic rooftop. The host's are just lovely. The helped me a lot by planing the days in uruma and organized a bike for me. We also cooked together. Thanks again for having me.

“Exceeded my expectations”
My favorite stay so far in Okinawa, wish I had more then one night. Beautiful hosts , felt more like staying at a friend’s house. Sunrise view , scrumptious breakfast, great conversations. Lovely traditional Tatame bedding to truly immerse myself. Shower is great pressure Breakfast was delicious Hope to return one day

“The owners prepared cold water for me in a warmer bottle before they sleep. It really warm when I go back at late night.”
The owners are really friendly and considerate, it makes you feel back home when you back to the hostel. The environment and facilities are user-friendly, not brand new but very clean. And the mattress is very good, I had very good sleep quality there.

“Recommendation for solo traveler!”
Hosts are very thoughtful and welcoming. Their English is great. They helped me make travel plans for the next day and told me about a nice local restaurant for lunch. I was the only person staying at Smilax Kurichi, so I had the entire first floor to myself, which made my stay extra comfy!

Everything was fabulous, no matter the toilet, shower room, and restroom! I love the most was the balcony, which i saw an extraordinary sunrise in the morning! Also, Kuri & Chi were super friendly that we had a awesome chat at night and I knew more about Okinawa through them:) Hope to live in Smilax Kurichi again, which was super relaxing !
