“Amazing, really loved it”

Wow, we really loved this hotel. I had been waiting a couple of years to visit Peru and specifically stay here and it was everything I hoped for and more! The rooms are decorated beautifully, with lots of colourful accents and coloured lights. The gardens are so pretty with all different flowers, very peaceful too - it was a lovely place to sit and relax. Once the sun had gone in, there were lots of comfortable places to sit inside too. We ate dinner in the hotel which was beautifully decorated. Portions were large and it tasted lovely. The shower was powerful and shampoo, conditioner & soap were provided. There were also radiators in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated. There are a couple of different choices for each course. We ordered the night before as we had limited time to eat. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Amazing place to stay!

The design, the architecture is pretty unique. The staff truly made a difference, from Milagros in the reception to Patty in the restaurant. The food and presentation were excellent. I had not slept so well in months!

We loved absolutely everything! from the moment the round door opened, revealing the incredible interior, our jaws dropped and we just didn't want to leave. very helpful and friendly staff who always join in helping with serving meals, be it in the dining room or in the garden. Absolutely amazing meals, lunch and dinner! They helped us organise day tours which were brilliant. Every corner and area you look at, simply takes your breath away. Love, love, love

The hotel is one of a kind with a very unique room. Best and biggest shower I have ever been in with plenty of hot water (even offered hair conditioner which seems to be rare in Peru). Pool (although a little cold) was a bonus. We arrived quite late (kitchen was about to close and no other food options close by). Staff helped arrange a meal from the kitchen to our room which was delicious.

“Very comfortable and tranquil place to stay near Urubamba”

A really quirkily designed hotel; it's very comfortable with central heating in the bedrooms, which is really nice for cold evenings. The breakfast was filling and tasty, and the kitchen staff were very friendly - they spontaneously marked my son's birthday with a cake and sang "happy birthday" to him. There are lots of relaxing spots to sit in the garden. You can also do a really nice 45-min walk from the property up to a small Incan site in the hills with amazing views over Urubamba and the valley.

Breakfast was very limited, for example, only one small cup of coffee included. Why? At our much simpler and cheaper hotel in Lima breafast was a buffet, and you can take as much as you want from everything.

This hotel is has the most amazing architecture! You feel like you have stepped into the set of Alice in Wonderland. There are plenty of places to sit and relax or read. We felt that they hotel was in a very good location because you can easily get a taxi to the center of town (costs is minimal - less than $4). We really liked being away from the center of town.... nice and quite. You can also easily schedule tours to amazing cities like Pisac and Ollantaytambo right from this hotel. What sets this hotel apart however is the outstanding service. I have never received such amazing service like what was provided at Wifala. Frida and Rosa went out of the way to secure everything I needed even before I arrived at the hotel. Any questions were answered promptly. They arranged for our taxi transport from the Cusco airport and all of my tours. They have a list of excellent taxis and tour guides. We were especially pleased with all of the tours that were provided by Álvaro. He took us to all of the places we wanted to see. He was so knowledgeable and made every trip a wonderful adventure! Be sure to ask for him! The breakfast and dinner options were excellent. Maria and Josefina were our servers and they were so attentive. Rosita did a great job fixing delicious meals. The entire staff is wonderful!!! (Please note that they will ask you what time you want each meal and that they stop serving dinner after 8:30) Please note: You are able to have them do your laundry for a very reasonable fee. Their services are excellent! We will definitely stay here again when we come back!!!
