Honestly, it was amazing. Beautiful location, nice team and great value for money…the room was spacious, the breakfast was great, the garden is well taken care of. I would highly recommend.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds with daybeds and hammocks to relax before or after the Inca Trail. Bedrooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds. The bonfire at night was perfect on a chilly night in the Andes.

“Loved our stay”

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and it was one of the best hotels we had in our 14 day trip in Peru. The hotel is not located in the centre of Urubamba which we loved as it is set in a quite location near the river and had amazing mountain views all around. Rooms are vey spacious with beautiful décor, comfortable beds with views of the garden and mountains. Food during breakfast and dinner was really good and there's many options to choose from. All employees were very nice and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful setting and a lovely quiet place to stay. Huge comfy beds and excellent hot shower. Wifi worked well. We liked it so much we stayed twice.

My husband and I loved our stay in Tierra Viva. The views from the surrounding mountains are beautiful. Staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Food was delicious; both the breakfast menu and the restaurant menu. Rooms are so spacious and well decorated. We loved the green areas where you can chill in hammocks, outdoor beds, and sit around the fireplace. Mind the location is not walkable distance from the closest town which is Urubamba; you must take a taxi to get you there. This is a great stay if you want to relax for some days after the high-pace touristic days.

We had a absolutely fantastic night in this beautiful resort. The location with the surrounding mountains is magical and the gardens within the resorts are equally beautiful. I was stunned by the evening beauty of the place. The staff took very good care of us and were very kind! Breakfast buffé was excellent, with a great variation. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and with big windows. It felt very luxurious. I really wish we had time to stay longer since this was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Peru.

Very comfortable bed and clean rooms, good hot shower. Heater in room if required but room very open and airy so takes a while to heat up.

An amazing place, and amazing architecture. A little bit in a middle of nowhere which we loved. Good breakfast, spacious rooms with heater which was handy. Comfortable beds. Really recommend, one of our best stays in Peru.
