The remote location and unusual setting, the calmness and being in wild nature, the old lady coming by everyday to cook. Overall it's a great place to relax and get a sens of Armeni's wilderness.

Good communication from the owners after I made the booking. We both loved the tranquility of the place. As a sponsor of one of the rescued bears they arranged for us to help put the food out for our sponsor bear Max and then watch as he searched for his food.

stunning location, comfortable beds, incredibly good food. and a true noble cause. they use the proceeds from tourisme for their WildLife Refuge. for the kids the swimming pool was a big plus. do go on a hike with a ranger.

A quiet, beautiful location in the mountains where they rehabilitate bears and birds of prey. A nice, bright common room where you can meet other people.

the place of peace and tranquillity. beautiful nature around and a lot of stars at night. It’s a perfect place if you want to get away from the city and people and rest in the middle of nowhere! I was very surprised when I found out that it is a bear rescue centre! Also the jeep tour to the mountains is a must do! amazing staff, I didn’t have a car but they were so kind to take me to the town to the grocery store.

Loved the place, definitely worth visiting. We found it by accident and never regretted. If you love being in the wilderness far away from civilization, but don't want to sacrifice comfort, this would be a great option. Besides the location itself, hospitable staff and managers, nice food from local products, you will be surprised by the rescued animals (bears and birds) they foster there and the mission of the place. Keep it up, guys! Good luck in all you're doing for the nature!

“I can't wait to return”

How lucky to be able to witness this truly dedicated group, harvesting seed endemic to the area, propagating and re-planting, rescuing bears and where possible, releasing them into their natural habitats. generally improving / saving the environment whilst sharing this journey with visitors & volunteers. The this is great; they buy produce locally, employ local people and pay them very fairly. There is accomodation to suit all budgets and desires, from bunks, to private bedroom with en-suite, to your own luxurious house / lodge, or yurt. The location was amazing, I felt at one with Armenia. I went horse riding into the mountains with Mount Ararat in the back ground in its awesome surroundings, I felt so privileged to be guided in this very special place and to see such plants & wildlife. The staff were really friendly and helpful The food was soooo good, authentic Armenian, freshly made by local, lovely ladies, using local ingredients.
