“Relaxation, beauty and authenticity all rolled up in one! So happy we stayed here to experience it all!”
The property was beautiful and relaxing! Just what we needed! Our room was large, comfortable and had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the rolling hills and the sea. Sheep quietly roamed the property—it was so picturesque! Breakfast was hot and amazing and made with fresh local items. The hosts were very charming and kind! The area is just so beautiful with so much to see in the vicinity—including a castle—so a car is best (although we didn’t have one due to a breakdown and came by taxi). The hosts directed us to an easy and scenic trail to Hendaye through the countryside and along the sea, where we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at their recommendation and a market as well).

“Two nights in the tranquil countryside location close to see”
Breakfast was fine, as if I were staying with family or friends. Maybe there could have been some cooked eggs or yogurt as well. The house is quite close to the sea, in a beautiful, tranquil, natural countryside setting. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

“A friendly, welcoming household!”
All locally sourced and tasty ingredients for breakfast. The Shakshuka was VERY good, as were the homemade preserves! Jean Pierre and Camille were very flexible on breakfast times…. nothing was too much trouble. One sunny morning, sitting on the veranda eating breakfast was especially pleasant, looking over the fields . Thank you both for helping us with our itinerary and for steering us towards the best spots… restaurants included.

“Idyllic country house with all amenities”
It was a place with a special charm. Great location in the middle of green meadows, not far from the sea and San Sebastian. The view from the balcony was great! Special thanks to the neighbor's sheep and very cute family dog! The room was spacious, tasteful and very comfortable. There was everything needed in the room. The bathroom was especially beautiful, with a view. The hosts were very friendly and took care of the guests in every way. The breakfast was tasty and varied. It was definitely one of the nicest lodges we have stayed at.

“Amama Baita where they can go to relax, refresh and feed the soul”
Amama Baita was amazing! Such a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Our hosts Camille and Jean-Pierre were so welcoming and friendly. An excellent breakfast was cooked by our hosts, using eggs from their own chickens, home-made jams, pancakes, and fruit crumble, served on the veranda with beautiful scenery all around including a glimpse of the sea. Sharing conversation with the guests and our hosts was the perfect start to the day. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and Jean-Pierre provided us with list of restaurants in all the local towns. We were sad to leave and by the time we left they felt like friends. Thank you Camille & Jean-Pierre memories to treasure. Just perfect!
