Very good, wonderful food

This is a really beautiful ryokan. The onsen baths are all unique and well equipped. The staff, especially the waitresses serving food were so efficient and personable.

The property is very well designed with nice restaurants. Food services is good and the staff is very friendly and cheerful.

Everything. The place is amazing. It is a pretty Big Ryokan, full of details: It has two baths, a shop with really good things to buy there, the restaurant is good, there is a karaoke even in the top floor. The room was increíble, very big, with a beautiful window facing a japanese garden with momiji (it was peak season when we were there). The bathroom was big and It has an ofuro made of wood. It was the most beautiful experience staying at Taishoya. Don't miss the chance to go to the outdoor baths they have on the mountains. That was the best bath that I ever have in a rotemburo, next to the river, light up at night... A magical experience.

They have two beautiful indoor onsen and a shuttle to an outdoor onsen in the afternoon that is well worth the visit. Staff are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Dinner was a real treat. As was breakfast. They served ureshino green tea that you can also purchase in the shop on site. Just beautiful place. It's obviously expensive but with the outstanding service, you forget about it and enjoy the stay.

In general, a good choice .. breakfast and dinner were great. There were choices of hot bath. Staffs were friendly.

The room was Magnificent. And Staff was very nice and fluent in English speaking.

Great onsen hotel. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. Rotenburo by shuttle bus was an added bonus.

Love the Kaiseki dinner and hearty Japanese breakfast

Very nice ryokan. In addition to the two indoor public baths, there was a shuttle bus to an outdoor onsen 10 minutes away that was just fantastic, in the woods and on a small river. The room was very nice, the dinner was a fantastic kaiseki and also the breakfast was excellent.

They kindly picked us from Ureshino onsen station even though we didn’t informed them in advance. Tourist information helped us call. The onsen up the mountain was great, free transport provided both ways. The food was excellent. The onsen water was great for my skin. Would definitely visit again .

The most relaxing experience I've had. Everything was excellent, the staff were fantastic, the baths were relaxing and clean, the food was exceptional and elaborate with local ingredients being the focus and the room was large and relaxing.
